It is the year 4032, and shinobi live among the stars. Earth is a distant memory for most people, though for retired ANBU Ops agent of the Allied Shinobi Forces, Hatake Kakashi, it’s a memory he’d rather not revisit at all. These days, he spends his days catching rogue nin and criminals hellbent on illegally trafficking goods and resources around the galaxy.
Enter Haruno Sakura. It’s been twelve years since she was found encased in a block of ice in the middle of an asteroid mine. No one has any idea how she got there, least of all her. What’s painstakingly, abundantly clear, however, is that her benefactors want good on their investment. After all, thawing out and rehabilitating a young woman with no chakra takes money. 2 billion ryo, to be exact.
And in this economy? What’s a girl to do but scam and con her way out of debt?
