Summary
Team RWBY, Qrow, Oscar, and Maria have made it to Brunswick Farms after a shocking reveal that's put a damper on everyone's moods, and Weiss Schnee in particular was feeling... not so great about it all. There was no way that she had been through hell and back only to be told that the war they were fighting was simply a futile effort to stall for time. She survived the Fall of Beacon, she survived almost dying at Haven, she had reunited with her partner and lover... only to find out that surprise! It was all for nothing, Salem couldn't die, and this war was everlasting.
Her life up to this point had been a constant battle. The bunny ears on her head were a reminder of that. And now with the newfound knowledge they had all acquired...
She was really starting to wonder what the point of all this was.
Set in the beginning of Volume 6, right after the big reveal by Jinn. Weiss is an Arctic Hare Faunus, WR is established, the Bees are being Angsty, and Brunswick Farms is not where anyone wants to be.

However, Ruby's role as 'team leader' strains their relationship, and Weiss feels helpless to slow down her partner's descent into a breakdown. Regardless, she'll stay by Ruby's side no matter what.

She’s found, and the only thing she can feel is the woman’s fear. Her eyes blaze, ready to take everything she has and more…but she’s tired. With no aura and the exhaustion of what she’s already done, Cinder collapses to the ground. Her final conscious thoughts are of her hate for Ruby Rose, and she bitterly knows that her power will wind up in that girl’s hands…
Until she wakes up. She’s not dead. Now, Cinder has to find a way to continue on in life while plagued by the incessant kindness of her apparent savior.

The sixth installment of a RWBY fan story which will focus on two teams of original characters from Shade Academy in Vacuo.
