Summary
Set in a Pokéverse where the remnants of our civilization's Earth lie buried under the resurgent human/Pokémon societies, this epic Saga follows the protagonist through his journey to the heights of Pokemon Training and beyond, across a planet that was only saved from ecological disaster by an act of Arceus. As Humanity and Pokémon coexist in this fusion of settings, the story will explore themes of war, oppressive cults, and Shadow infusion, in a world where Pokémon healing and battles echo the anime in realistic, but not overtly graphic ways. Pokémon do not rip each other apart in Battles, though it can sometimes happen in the wild.
This is a very long journey fic that's kind of a Crossover with everything. But with Pokémon. So you might see characters like Shaggy Rogers, or Izuku Midoriya, but with Pokémon teams. Pokémon legends like Red, Gary Oak, and the reigning World Champion, Ash Ketchum, are also, naturally, present in the setting. Think of this slice of the Pokéverse as one where it's all coming together.

The sunlight was merciless, creeping in through the gap in her curtains and landing right across her face. "Ugh, Sun! Take a hint," she mumbled, yanking her blanket over her head. For a split second, she entertained the brilliant idea of using Dig to escape deeper under the covers. Her toes wiggled as if prepping for action, but her brain kicked in a moment later.
Today wasn’t just any day—it was the day.
Her eyes shot open like a Staryu’s gem, and she bolted upright in bed, her blanket flying off her like a Togekiss taking off. “Today’s my first day as a trainer!” she squealed, practically vibrating with excitement. She threw her legs over the side of her bed and stood up so fast she almost tripped on her Pikachu-patterned pajama pants.

MW: How.When Ash Ketchum was to set off on his journey across Kanto, the legendary Pokémon of the world were very interested to see how it would go. Arceus set a very simple ground rule: Nobody was to interfere. Ash was to have a normal journey without their shenanigans getting in the way. Of course, then they all found out that Ash had been freely chatting with the Kanto legendaries for nearly two months, some of them just couldn't leave well enough alone, and by the time Ash's journey was three weeks in he'd already indirectly saved the world. Things... kind of spiralled out of control from there.
Or: the legendary Pokémon have a chatroom and discuss disrupting canon as much as possible.
Alternatively or: the Ash Ketchum group chat that existed before any of his human friends ever joined.

Pokémon: A semi-sentient wild creature in possession of power pertaining to an elemental typing, capable of rapid evolution, often hunted and caught in a pokéball by professional trainers for the purpose of competitive combat.
PokéGirl: A human female who has been defeated in a Pokémon battle and caught by the victorious trainer in a human ball and thus endowed with comparable power and toughness to a Pokémon, as well as a highly increased libido. Often used both in competitive combat and sexual gratification.
Ash Ketchum: A ten-year-old aspiring trainer who adores Pokémon and wants to prove himself as a Pokémon Master. However, as he is too young to catch PokéGirls, he doesn't give them much thought.
Fate, however, has different plans, starting with arriving too late to receive his first Pokémon, accidentally kicking up an angry Spearow flock, and a chance encounter while fleeing. Still, his adventure begins, full of triumphs and tragedies, perils and pleasures. Along the way many familiar faces will be met and friends will be made, just in...somewhat different circumstances than one might expect, and going on to play much different roles, giving him a wholly different perspective on PokéGirls.
