Summary
Neuvillette considered his words in silence before sighing.
‘’I am sorry for the inconvenience I have caused you,’’ he said in earnest. ‘’I will have a word with Lady Furina and urge her to approve your request. Would that be all right with you?’’
Wriothesley let a chuckle escape him. The effort was appreciated, but it came a little too late. This was too easy.
‘’No,’’ he replied categorically, looking Neuvillette straight in the eye. He loomed closer to the judge, their proximity making him shrink back into his seat. ‘’I don’t think I’m going to accept that. You’re going to make up for this, Neuvillette, and I already know how.’'
Overwhelmed by the influx of inmates at the Fortress of Meropide, Wriothesley decides he's had enough. He confronts Neuvillette about the issue.

‘’Wriothesley,’’ he finally said, breaking the silence. ‘’There is a question I have been meaning to ask you.’’
‘’A question?’’
‘’Yes.’’ Neuvillette paused, considering his next words carefully. ‘’How did you feel when you...’’
He trailed off, unsure of how to word his question without sounding rude or tactless. The last thing he wanted was to anger Wriothesley, although Neuvillette knew he was not the kind to be easily offended.

Following a rather unusual trial, Neuvillette is left with a gnawing sense of déjà vu and a head full of question marks. A talk with Wriothesley helps him figure things out.

Bertholdt is camera shy and doesn't particularly like his picture taken, but since Reiner is going out of his way to make his birthday memorable, he's willing to make an effort.

Summary
Bertolt becomes sick after a long training day in the rain. Reiner has to take care of him, which should be a breeze. All he has to do is make sure Bertolt rests. Well unfortunately for Reiner, Bertolt has decided that's the last thing he wants to do. Who would have thought someone so tall could be so slippery.

Bertolt groaned loudly. “Do not mention rain to me ever again!”
Reiner left laughing knowing Bertolt would be out cold within minutes and stay like that for the rest of the day.
Unfortunately, Bertolt had not stayed asleep much to Reiner’s chagrin. He left the boys' barracks multiple times throughout the day. Despite Reiner’s best efforts to stop him, he always slipped away.

Summary
“I don’t think this is a good idea,” said Bertolt worriedly as soon as Reiner had suggested going to the rodeo bull ride. Bertolt’s nerves didn’t make sense to Reiner—they had long planned to go to this amusement park together with Ymir, Historia and Annie. Wasn’t it more fun to try out as many available rides as possible? Was the idea of shaking about that daunting to Bertolt?
“C'mon, what could go wrong?” Reiner assured while patting Bertolt’s back. “It’ll be fine.”
When it was their turn, though, Reiner soon realised (with much dread) that he was fucking wrong.
