Summary
I just had this little niggling crack fic idea and had to write it into the world. What if some extra mutagens and a big dose of magical torture broke Geralt's brainpan and he experienced visual hallucinations of his thoughts the way Deadpool does with his thought boxes (comic). Answer = this fic.

There was a pregnant pause during which Geralt breathed through his mouth to avoid the scent of blood and determinedly did not look at the yellow box in the air.*Eskel would have saved him.*
He caught the words out of the edge of his vision and physically flinched away from the condemnation. The white box was back, but the Witcher was done with humoring his hallucinations for one day.

Tony tried to hide a grimace. “Sounds good, Spangles. See you guys there. Common room in, uh," he glanced at his watch, “thirty minutes.”
“What’s the game called?” Clint asked.
Tony glanced over his shoulder as he walked out the kitchen door. “Jumanji.”

Summary
Titus hadn't wondered about who lived on the other side of his Mark in years, vines creeping up his arm only ever offering him cold indifference. He was just the son of a blacksmith, spent his time running errands for his Ma and learning from his Father in the forge. He wasn't anybody.
Being bagged and taken by bandits changed all of that. Sold to a horrifying figure that was only known across the lands as The Witch-King, Titus has to reforge himself a new life.
In the end he might even learn that he isn't a nobody after all.

Summary
According to her, one of these should appeal to him above all others. It should call to him so clearly that its owner was sure to be compatible with him on a biological level — compatible enough that simply existing near them could begin to purge the rot still pulsing into his body from the wellspring in his carotid artery. Passive recovery, they called it.
Astarion has been mated to a monster for 20 years, a nightmare with no way out. When he finds himself faced with the prospect of freedom, the possibility is overwhelming. How could he get by on his own when just getting through the day is a battle? Fortunately, there's a lifeline, a voluntary program that matches people who have suffered a great trauma with a volunteer whom they are scent-compatible with. By simply sharing a home with this person, healing comes faster than it ever could alone. Astarion is paired with Wyll Ravengard, a young man who has done more for the program than almost anyone else.
It's a simple arrangement - move in, get better, and move on without giving a new alpha any chance to harm him. After all they've suffered, who would expect feelings to complicate matters?

When Viktor finally asks why Jayce stayed behind inside the Anomaly with him, Jayce stares at him as though he’s supremely disappointed by the question— as if Viktor has betrayed his own brilliance by asking something so irredeemably stupid. “How could I not? We’re partners.”
Partners, Jayce calls them. Not for the first time, Viktor wonders: Partners in what?

Too bad for them they started with the one who isn't scared of dying as much as she's scared of what will happen if they push her to lose control.
