He was used to that kind of mental gesture by now, and barely twitched as he got into bed. “I can look it up tomorrow.”
That earned Jaime an angry blare in his head and he winced. So much for that option.

“You’re Zombie.” is what [Eraser] eventually says.
Midoriya shrugs.
“Didn’t exactly plan on becoming a vigilante, my plan was just to die. At this point, I don’t think anyone is going to let me do that.”
“Midnight has nightmares about you. You were missing half your head, your guts were hanging out, you didn’t have an arm. How are you not dead?” he asks.
“The Gods are apparently on the list of those that won’t let me die,” he says, displeasure clear. “Is the kid going to be okay?”
“He’ll be fine. What happened here?” Eraserhead asks, finally taking in the body.
“Cthulhu doesn’t like to stay in jail, and when he’s out he rapes, murders, and kidnaps people. I decided he needed to stop causing problems, so I jumped from the roof onto his face. Somehow, he didn’t survive that.”
“His throat is brutalized, there’s like six stab wounds on his chest, and you’re holding a knife and covered in blood.”
“Would you believe me if I said he was like that when I jumped on him?”
