Summary
The free androids of Detroit start building their brand-new future, but peace is only relative in the troubled times that follow a revolution. One of the major figureheads of the revolution and finally a deviant, Connor now has to learn how to handle free will. The AI that both guided and punished him is gone, but at a price, and he struggles with his newfound freedom when guilt and fear are the crumbling foundations of his new life.
They say they want him there with them, but Connor can't understand why. He's afraid of himself and what he's capable of, afraid that maybe these feelings don't have their place within him.
Despite all the doubts he may have, Connor finds that he desperately wants to live, because whenever he feels himself slipping and falling, they're here to catch him.

Summary
Whumptober Day 8 - Crowded ER
Connor is injured while attending a celebration for the one-year anniversary of the peaceful revolution, along with many other androids. Hank is sitting with him in the waiting room and beginning to lose patience with how long it's taking for them to see Connor for repairs. Connor had been shot after all, and as far as Hank is concerned that counted as a serious emergency, whatever triage had to say. He was not about to watch Connor die in the waiting room of a repair center, no way in hell.

Summary
Connor is nearly killed in the line of duty. Before the Revolution, he would have simply been dumped into another android shell with a patchwork of memory files to work off of. Now, well, it's not that simple. Now, he has to deal with things like replacement parts, and software incompatibilities. So, he gets to heal like a human does--slowly, and painfully.
He's not taking it well. Nobody's taking it well.
(This may or may not be a one-shot. We'll see.)

Usually, he texted Bruce when a headache would take him out for the count, but… Spryal still left some untended, gaping wounds in his fragile chest, the size of Bruce’s relentless fists.
