Summary
Alhaitham, without breaking eye contact with the offensive document, hums.
“They want us to teach a seminar together.”
There’s a long pause.
Kaveh peeks out from under his arm.
“Together?”
“Yes.”
A beat.
“Us?”
“Yes.”
Another.
“In the same room?”
Alhaitham lowers the paper. “Apparently the Akademiya has developed a theory—tragically untested until now—that our ‘differing pedagogical approaches’ might foster ‘cross-disciplinary innovation and engagement.’”
Or, how two intellectual disasters taught a seminar, destroyed a syllabus, kissed, and accidentally created a fandom.

Summary
And that was when Kaveh snapped. He launched himself to his feet, seething with an emotion he was definitely not ready to name.
“You think you’re so clever, don’t you?” he hissed. “Just because you speak twelve dialects and own an espresso machine and have cheekbones sharp enough to cut through my boundaries, you think you’ve won. You think you can just smile—dimples and all—and I’ll fall apart like an emotionally unstable origami project?”
Alhaitham didn’t answer.
He smirked. Softly and lazily, like a man lounging on the ruins of Kaveh’s dignity.
Both dimples.
Both.
Kaveh gasped like a Victorian heroine seeing ankle.
“No,” he whispered. “Put them away.”
“I’m not doing anything.”
“That’s what makes it worse!”
Or, Alhaitham has dimples and Kaveh is, against all reason and dignity, doomed.

Summary
“Rending the earth beneath eager feet, finding the chink in old armor and twisting the dagger with promises in a naive ear,” Cole says, fast, erratic. “The Sun-Tamer bends to Blight before—”
“Cole,” Solas says, again, and it’s different this time. Hearing things Cole should not know that do not make sense even to him.
“He comes to the throne room, relief like fire under the skin, burning taint from the bone, watching arms open, lyrium dagger sharp and bright as the beyond.” Cole’s hands find his hair under the hat, fingers pulling so hard the muscles in his arms strain. “‘Amatus’, and it smarts when memory beats against an already aching heart, but it’s antithetical when pride takes away Solas and leaves the Dread Wolf behind, eyes wild with unfettered magic, smile splitting the skin, ‘I am a god’—”

Summary
Every story’s got an ending. This one just came a little earlier than I’d planned.
Rook wonders if Solas feels the same way as the Dread Wolf’s closes — as his new one with Ellana Lavellan cracks open to its first page.
It was a good ending — a poetic ending — the Inquisitor taming an impossibly ancient grief to walk hand in hand with her lover into the Fade.
Forever bound together; forever sharing the love they’d built between them — unshakable and iron willed and impossible to break in spite of the decade that hung between their last meeting and the flare of green that accompanies their dematerialization.
It was nice, and it was peaceful, and Rook has been left standing in the ashes of a blighted Minrathous — broken, bleeding, and bitter.
In the moments following the defeat of Elgar'nan and the redemption of the Dread Wolf, Rook is dragged into another unwanted, unpredictable magical shit show. After being given a vague order and an even vaguer plan, he's thrown into the past — much further than anticipated.
A time travel fix-it fic written by an author obsessed with dashes and italics.

Summary
Inquisitor Circe Lavellan is a lot of things.
An alcoholic. A false prophet. A failure to his clan. A scared boy, forced to play hero for shems who he couldn’t possibly care less about.
But one thing he refuses to be, is a weak mage. The Templars and their fade nullification abilities can go to hell, mark Lavellan’s fucking words.

Summary
By the time Elgar’nan is dead, Rook is the last of the Veilguard standing. Solas succeeds in killing him, damning the world, but Rook succeeds in killing Solas, too.
The world is going to end, but at least Rook’s taking the Dreadwolf out with him. If not for the fact that his lungs were filling with blood, he’d laugh.
And then, Rook wakes up (mostly) alive 12 years in the past. He’s not sure how yet, but this is probably Solas’s fault.

Summary
Lucanis turned his head from Rook to look at the Venatori, but from behind him the Venatori’s claw-like hands kept Lucanis’ head in place, forcing him to watch. He leaned in, wine breath and metallic scent, making Lucanis’ gut lurch even more, as if the view wasn’t sickening enough. “Wonder how mangled he needs to be until you sing, Crow.”
(After Lucanis attempts (and fails) to kill Zara, he grapples with new-found betrayals, lost purposes, and feelings he can no longer ignore and refuse to acknowledge all the same. Rook, meanwhile, does what he does best: getting himself skewered by various blood magic attacks, doing dark necromantic rituals to prevent evil witches to come back to life, sneaking into a Venatori gala, and eventually finding himself smack dab in the heart and actual mind of certain assassin)

Summary
Lucanis Dellamorte didn't survive a year in the Ossuary and get saddled with an irritating demon, just to be put on a Venatori ship headed for an execution. There had to be a way out. There was always a way out.
This time, the way out came in the form of a wild, impulsive thunderstorm who called himself Rook. An out-of-control apostate from the Lords of Fortune, who had blown a cultist to bits with little more than a gesture right in front of Lucanis. During what was supposed to be his daring escape.
To close the impossible distance between himself and home, Lucanis decided to do the only thing he could do: team up with this Rivaini elf armed with more secrets than an Orlesian bard and a stare that made him weak in the knees.
How do you keep up with lightning?
