Summary
More than two years after the Sixth Wily War, Drew had thought his security agency would be tasked with nothing more than cleanup. Tearing down Type W sites, scrapping any lingering Alpha Bots, and overall just running with standard protocol. It was simple. Extremely dangerous, but simple.
The destruction of the Mulan Chemical Storage Plant span that dynamic on its head entirely. The aftermath left Drew and a gaggle of various Robot Masters waist deep in a cross-country manhunt to smother the Seventh Wily War before it could ever truly begin. Made only worse by the hopeful futures dangling over the heads of all but Drew.
He could reach for it too. To take Jewel Man into his arms and live a life again that actually made him happy, but that'd be selfish. Right?

Summary
Any Town Guard worth their weight in salt understood that they were the stepping stones for a better tomorrow. Each town a beating heart deserving of that now fleeting feeling of safety. Sooner or later though, in the final throes of the Count's war against humanity, the remaining watchmen found that there weren't any cities left to save. Just bones and ash beneath their boots. For one surviving Town Guard, however, his last stand would pen an entirely new opus unseen in the numerous letters clutched to his chest.

Summary
Gigi's time as the Social Media Manager for Bloom and Doom Seed Co wasn't all bad, truth be told. Good pay, excellent health and life insurance, and an already leased home for him to work out of. All it cost him was moving away from everyone and everything he knew and the occasional theft of his screen door. In Neighborville though? That felt pretty normal.
At least the zombies were friendly. The plants, well, were perhaps far more than that. Mayhaps he shouldn't be trusting anything from Crazy Dave's Emporium.

What a fantastic way to really help his mood. Howard didn't know what was worse: losing his favorite shock prod the night before in bed, or this incredibly vague and no questions asked morning shift in the middle of nowhere. But it could be worse! He had his (other) tools and a boyfriend just as happy to bitch about the early hours as he was.
A little bit of cold never bothered him anyway.

Facing relationships that refuse to stay buried in the past and the challenges of working alongside people they'd really rather not associate with, all they can hope for - and, by extension, all their familiar contacts can hope for - is to pull off the job with as few complications as possible.
