Or: Scott wakes up after a very long nap post Coven massacre. He isn't thrilled to find even more of the people who've caused him so much pain to be running around.
Or or: Scott is a vampire, yes. But he was never human before that. This complicates things.

“Are you sure we’re not lost?” Sam asked, for the umpteenth time.
From his seat in the back, Chris could see Josh take a deep breath and squeeze the steering wheel. “We are not lost.” He claimed, with a grimace that tried to be a smile and failed.
“This is the fourth time we’ve passed by that tree.” Sam pointed out.
“We’re in the woods, all the trees look the same!” Josh said.
Or; Josh had the bright idea to go camping. Everyone joins in. This goes as well as you think it can go.
Set a year or so pre-cabin incident, so everyone is alive and happy :3 took some licenses with the couples though

Summary
After the events of 'If it was gonna kill you boy, it would've by now', Oakhurst settles for an eery and fragile peace. Of course, just because no one is actively fighting, it doesn't mean Legundo is out of work. In fact, he still has a lot of work to do. This are just some stellar examples.
Or, six times Legundo helps someone in Oakhurst, and three times he cannot.

Pyro gets in a spot of trouble, and Scott steps in. Of course, his plan goes perfectly to work, and Pyro escapes freely.
The rest of the evening does not go to plan.
Meanwhile, Avid finally gets a (semi) willing test subject to develop a cure for vampirism!
Surely the moral implications of this situation won't get out of hand...

Oakhurst is a dreadful town. Clearly abandoned, gloomy, and somehow more cloudy than the rest of the country. Scott should've never come here. But, here he was, so he might as well go with Owen and Pyro in search of those odd beacons.
They never expected to find one that was broken before.
Touching it leads to... odd side effects.
