Summary
“Odysseus.” Odysseus did not startle. He also did not greet Diomedes despite having known of his approach. “Odysseus?”
Perhaps this was some sort of battle related trauma. Diomedes ended up sitting down besides Odysseus and let his shoulder bump against the sullen King. “Talk to me, friend.”
“...About what?”
“What’s going on? Polites is concerned, so are your men. Was it the blood? Or the men who fell? Rest assured, friend, none of yours fell today.”
“Do you think King Sisyphus fights against his punishment? Do you think the Fates would allow him, if he did?”
Flinching, Diomedes observed the change in Odysseus’ eyes. Instead of the colour of the sea, Odysseus’ eyes were taken over by a hue of red– only noticeable when observed in a certain angle but definitely present. Diomedes knew what caused a hue of red like that.
Odysseus had been touched by Ares’ Rage.
—---
In which Odysseus is dropped back in time into the Trojan War and chooses to mess with everyone until it gets him killed or gets him back to Penelope. Others take notice.
Or, Odysseus is soooo done.

Summary
"Don't you think, should Arthur have magic, should Arthur be Magic, that we ought to support him?" Gwaine asked quietly, his voice low and gaze serious.
Merlin let out a high pitched and bird-like noise in response.
(Or the one where Grettir was more vague and so there's much confusion in who is Courage, who is Strength, and who is Magic. But especially that last one.)

Summary
And a second later, his arms are around her and she smells his sour sweat and the hastily-applied deodorant that doesn’t cover it. Her body stiffens under his touch. Nobody but Katie and the boys hug her. To her relief, the hug ends as quickly as it started.
“What are you doing here?” Lisbon asks. It’s so strange seeing him after all this time. The boy she knew is trapped in amber inside her mind. She can’t quite understand that this is him except older.
And sadder. “I was told the Red John case was taken over by the CBI.”
Teresa Lisbon was sixteen years old when she met Patrick at a carnival on the outskirts of Chicago. Now, at thirty-two, Patrick reappears at her job, grieving the loss of his wife and child to serial killer Red John and completely oblivious to the existence of their fifteen-year-old daughter.

Summary
“Don't you fucking dare,” Astarion hissed, knowing all too well what was going through Gale's mind. “You are not going to eat my wedding ring, you silly man. I don't care how desperate you think you are.”
Gale swallowed heavily as he forced himself to meet Astarion's gaze. “Please. I…I can't explain, but it is imperative that I consume the Weave from your ring. I'm afraid the item—”
“Will be destroyed,” Astarion cut in. “Yes, yes. I've been through this already, darling. But you can't absorb the Weave from an item that you yourself enchanted. So you can put the idea of eating my ring out of your pretty little head.”
--
Astarion meddles with a magical item and finds himself sent back to the year of Gale's self-imposed isolation, where he makes an impression on the miserable wizard.
