Summary
Baby was running. With Romance. He doesn't know where but he doesn't question it, his brain thinking with high speed and adrenalin as his legs moved by themselves, carring him away from the stage, from Huntrix, from Gwi-ma.
He saw Mystery get brutaly eliminated by Zoey. Saw Abby disapear as Mira sealed his fate with no mercy whatsoever. And Jinu, god fucking Jinu, protecting a girl he met maybe two weeks ago! The traitor lured them in and then had the audacity to fuck them over like that. Had the audacity to destroy what Baby considert to be his family, his friends.

Summary
After the world has settled down and HUNTR/X has recovered from their hard-fought battle against Gwi-Ma, they take a long hiatus. A hiatus that, as always, makes Rumi antsy enough to set out on another mission; figure out what the hell is going on with the surviving Saja Boys.
After their disaster of a final concert, Romance is left fatally injured, and Baby has to scramble to take care of him in whatever ways he can, even as it becomes increasingly clear that his efforts are futile. It doesn't last long. The two of them are only alone for one single day before the hunters find them again, offering to help heal Romance if the Sajas go with them. Baby is utterly baffled, but, not wanting to lose the last friend he las left, he reluctantly agrees.

Now they must deal with their hunger, a K-pop demon hunting group and the feeling of inevitability knowing Gwi-ma is waiting just underneath for any one of them to falter. Jinu intends to make sure he and his boys survive, THRIVE in the human world. And though it’s a fleeting dream, maybe someday be free of the risk of being dragged down to hell because of any threat.
Jinu will make sure it happens.

Gone.
This seems like a more appropriate time to laugh, Baby thought, but the edges of his mouth didn’t even twitch. Maybe he’d find the humour in all this later, if the hunters didn’t track him down and skewer him first.

“Reki,” Kaoru sighed, “what I’m hearing is that you want to get your ears pierced, is this correct?” The teen’s face flushed a little pink at being called out so directly, but he nodded, confirming Kaoru’s suspicions. “And were you going to try to do it yourself?”
“What? No!” The response came a little too quickly and a lot too squeaky for Kaoru to willingly overlook it, so, begrudgingly, he decided to take matters into his own hands.
“If you wish to get your ears pierced, Reki, I could always take you. The last thing I need happening is for you to improperly try to stab yourself with an unsterilized needle, have your wound get infected, and have to tell your mother that her son died because of my influence.”
“That’s a bit dramatic—”Or

“My tab?” Kaoru asked. He knew what the concept of a tab was, but still asked anyway, eyeing Kojiro suspiciously.
“Yeah,” he confirmed, “you don’t have to pay for it now. Just pay me back before you die and we’re all good.”
