it looked like eraserhead knew this too. izuku had no doubt the man felt the same sensation shooting up his forearm even if eraser didn’t even flinch. those dark eyes only glancing between the new tattoo of what looked to be a bunny drowning in the fabric of a ridiculously long scarf and izuku clutching his own arm protectively. izuku’s sleeves hid his arm but they both knew he had the exact tattoo that matched eraser’s identically.

They both move the few inches to squeeze their hands together then, feeling the bloodstains that aren't there right now, but, more than that, feeling the body heat-warmth and knowing that the other is alive, present, with them. Right now, for a few moments, they're okay.

A weekend mall trip becomes a fight for survival when Sero and five of his classmates are kidnapped. Sedated and restrained, they are unable to free themselves when the truck transporting them crashes, leaving them stranded inside under the midday sun. With the temperature rising and no way to call for help, they struggle against time and their own deteriorating conditions as they try to get out alive.

“About like - fucking - ugh,” Katsuki gave up and crossed his arms over his chest, glaring off to the side where he didn’t have to look at Mr. Aizawa and Mr. Aizawa didn’t have to see the way Katsuki’s embarrassment was growing to a dangerous degree.
“Before or after giving an apology?” Mr. Aizawa said, making no indication if he even noticed Katsuki’s embarrassment.
Katsuki had to take a couple seconds before he could answer. “After.”
“So,” Mr. Aizawa said, drawing out the word as he considered, “asking for forgiveness?” Katsuki nearly fucking sighed in relief that he didn’t have to say the words himself.
“I didn’t ask,” Katsuki said, “but he said he forgave me anyway.”
