Jason decides to take his chance. “So what’s the deal with him, anyway? People here talk about him like he’s a god.”
To his surprise, Clarisse snorts. “Something like that. Prissy’s an annoying one, that’s for sure. But I can’t deny that he’s powerful.”
“Powerful how?” He finds himself asking, curious. Everyone keeps talking about Percy Jackson, but people have yet to tell him more than that he’s Annabeth’s boyfriend, missing, and a son of Neptune. No, Poseidon. For some reason, the names swirl in his head, jumbled. He jolts out of his thoughts to Clarisse’s sigh of annoyance.
“What is it with all the hero-worship around here?” She mutters under her breath, and then huffs. “At least it wouldn’t go to his head.” She clears her throat, voice finally rising above a whisper. “Control-the-sea powerful. Create-a-storm powerful. Blow-up-a-toilet powerful. Blow-up-a-volcano powerful. That sort of thing.” She shrugs like she hasn’t dropped bombshell after bombshell, and Jason barely has enough presence of mind left to register that his jaw is hanging open. “Right–”
Or, 10 times someone thought Percy was a god, and the one time someone knew he was (or at least something like one).

Summary
Now, see, Fury is a pretty reasonable guy. He puts up with Tony Stark without killing him, yeah? That has to count for something. Especially when taken into consideration that he's Director of a spy--sorry, intelligence--agency. But even he has to resist the urge to pull out his nonexistent hair when there's HYDRA, and the fact that a good third of his agents' loyalties are mostly towards their mysterious cousin...who tipped them off to the snake infestation in the first place.
Fury is a pretty reasonable guy. He just wants to know if this cousin is another fucking alien, and then he'll figure it out from there.
(He isn't, as it turns out, but he does open up a whole new bag of cats. Insert a long-suffering sigh.)

Summary
Clint was the first one to notice the kid, maybe sixteen or seventeen years old, wearing an old blue hoodie over a faded orange shirt and sitting cross-legged on a bench in Central Park eating a sandwich. All normal things for teenage boys to be doing. He shook his head and brushed black hair out of his face as he took another bite, completely unconcerned.
Meanwhile, Thor flew two feet in front of him at the speed of sound as a giant robot flung him away from the fight happening literally right in front of the bench.
Or: Percy Jackson meets different Avengers because he's doing things he shouldn't be doing. As usual.

Summary
Percy was at least happy that this wasn't a prophecy. Stealing back some demigod weapons from a mortal? Sure, Iron Man was a superhero and a genius, but after dealing with Gaea, that was nothing. They just had to steer clear of anyone who might recognize them, and they were positive that they could pull it off easier than most of their quests. And potentially land Leo a job, while they're at it.
But Percy should have known better. Nothing is ever that simple for a demigod.

Okay. He was just having a normal day. The sun was shining, the birds (pigeons) were singing, Manhattan traffic was abysmal, and everything was fine.
And then a portal appeared in the sky over one of the tallest towers on the island and shit hit the fan.
And, really, what's a demigod to do when his city's under fire?
So now he's on the world's radar, and that's no fun. But, watching government agencies and Avengers froth at the mouth when they find him in the most random places or can't find him at all? Now that... that might be a little fun.

Unfortunately for the Hat, “or else” turns out to mean chaos, attempted theft, and one very dramatic lunging incident in front of the entire school. Throw in Percy Jackson accidentally sorting himself for aesthetic reasons, Annabeth Chase terrifying Slytherins everywhere, and a very panicked piece of sentient headwear, and Hogwarts has officially met its match.
Will wasn’t planning to start a war with a hat. But then again, it started it first.

A planet far away from the war, whose inhabitants seem to be dead set on forcing the two of them to learn how to (ugh) live normal, healthy lives, where they talk about their feeeeelings and make friends with weird, organic little slime blobs. Ugh.
Whirl would rather die, thanks.

Summary
Jazz has a few problems. Problem one, the Autobots are being poisoned. Two, figuring out who’s behind it and stopping them is proving harder than anyone expected. Three, he’s found a fix for both of those but it depends on Soundwave, the most loyal Decepticon in the whole army, helping him.
And if there isn’t a good reason for Soundwave to cooperate with him? Well, Jazz will just have to make one.
“An easy course and following winds,” Jazz says to the two aliens first, because the possibility of imminent violence is no excuse to violate social niceties with these guys. And then just for Soundwave, he says in English, “You know these guys are planning to screw you over, right?”
He steps lightly into the room, moving so casually you’d never know it puts him in point blank shooting distance of a sworn enemy.
“Hold your fire for just a sec,” he continues, baiting the hook, “and I’ll prove it.”

The Avengers get a new team member, though they don't immediately realise it. Thundercracker gets a new team, but it's going to take a serious adjustment period.
An Avengers focused crossover AU for IDW Transformers Gen1 that started as a love letter to MCU Avengers 2012 and rapidly devolved into something closer to Earth's Mightiest Heroes in vibes and continuity. Pulls extra characters and plot points from Transformers G1 and Marvel 616. Arc 1 complete, Arc 2 in progress.
