Summary

Her boyfriend at the time, Jinu, ghosts her after she gives him the news and she doesn't know what to do. Her mother, Miyeong, and Aunties Celine and Suzie pitch in and help Rumi through her pregnancy, bringing a beautiful baby girl, Ha-eun, into the world in the wee hours of the New Year.
Today Rumi works at a café to make ends meet and provide for her eighteen-month-old daughter, still lovingly aided by her mom and aunties. Things change, though, when a pair of customers become regulars and make their interest in the young barista and mom not so subtle. As their courtship of Rumi ensues, she learns a lot about herself as they challenge her convictions about her path in life, which seemed rigid since she first saw those two pink lines.

“I know.” Mira braced her wrist gently. “It’s the worst part. You’re doing well.”)
There was an off-campus warehouse party. Glitter in the cups, bass like a heartbeat, everybody swaying in time; then the city woke up wrong.
“Please stand by,” said the TV, and then it never stood again.
Outside, something knocks back; three taps, long pause, then a fourth tap that asks a question. There is a listening stillness where breath should be.
This isn’t your average Zombie Story.
It’s three girls deciding how to keep each other soft without getting killed, how to be brave without being loud, and what to do when the world starts moving like a puppet on a string.
