His other self claps a hand, hard, over his mouth. His palm is damp. Clammy. Emmett makes a protesting sound against it but before he can wriggle free, the other him speaks.
“Marty dies.”
A cloud passes over the sun.

In his three-quarters conscious state, it was in no way obvious what was going on. After an embarrassingly long couple of seconds, it clicked. “Oh – it happened again?”

A shrill scream cracks in the air and Valentino flinches, half jolting towards the motel door, before realizing that it was just the storm. Fucking scream rain. He worries the tip of his thumb at the junction between his phone and the case, fiddling with the blunt plastic, resisting the childish urge to chew on his nails.
It's fine. He's being stupid.
Or: Vox leaves Valentino to pick up the pieces of his latest brainwashing session. Valentino takes Angel home.

With grey shorts! Now, Blitzø wouldn't say he was an expert in fashion or anything, but the clothes didn't look anywhere near as expensive as they probably should. In fact, the sweater sported a horseshoe.
"Why are we in your old office, love?" Stolas asked, running a hand over the front desk as if it was some kind of antiquity. Yeah, he definitely acted weird as fuck.
Blitzø is working late one evening when he apprehends a thief. Or maybe not. Shit happens. Time travel may be involved.
