Dream is still there, still a threat, still banishing his sword, but the threat of swords crumble in the threat of obsidian wings. And the threat of obsidian wings crumbles in the threat of another sword being unsheathed and a gait too heavy to be any of the people from L’Manburg that come from behind Tubbo.
“He is not the only one,” a voice rumbles from behind—deep, echoing, and terrifying. “He’s just the flashiest.”
Tubbo looks up and wishes he’s surprised to meet the eyes of the Blood God.
Or: The SMP has no idea exactly who Tommy and Wilbur’s family is.
So imagine their surprise when—after Wilbur enlists his family to come help finish the war between L’Manburg and the Greater Dream SMP—it’s not another scrappy nobody with a too loud mouth and too many dreams that shows up in the midst of war. No, instead, Wilbur and Tommy’s family happen to be Technoblade, the Blood God, and Philza fucking Minecraft.

"You missed a spot," a voice spoke up above his music. It was only eight in the fucking morning and Tommy, if you hadn’t gathered it yet, was not a morning person. So whichever little bitch of a guard was trying to comment on his work was about to severely regret it.
Tommy squared his shoulders, pulled out an earbud and whipped around. "Excuse you, you fucki—" He stopped. There was no guard there. The hall was empty. Instead, he found himself staring into a cell.
Tommy didn't need to read the plaque next to the cell to know who those brown eyes belonged to. Fucking Siren.
Or, Tommy, an orphan freshly turned eighteen, has landed himself a job as a janitor inside the highest security prison of the country: Pandora's Vault. Also known as the prison that holds the most powerful supervillains of the last decades, including Siren, the Blade and even Zephyrus. He doesn't care, though, because he's just here to clean and get paid. Right? -

Tommy is near him, seeming distracted with other things. “Through a complicated and thorough process that definitely wasn’t just taking people at random from their worlds, you’ve all been brought together for the sole purpose of an experiment. A social experiment. An experience, I like to call it!”
Wilbur sounds thrilled at telling all of them this. Technoblade wishes he would fly back down so he can put his knife to good use. He didn’t sign up to be a random lab rat.
(Or, Techno winds up in one of Wil's 100 player challenges. He's just aiming to get out alive. Wil and Tommy of course have other ideas.)

They say that the new avatar has been found. That he’s being kept safe and is being trained in a sacred temple so he can protect the world when he is older.
Wilbur thinks it’s bullshit. He says as such. Phil doesn’t even scold him, he just agrees. Tommy repeats him, and Phil laughs.
It’s the first time he’s laughed since Techno was taken.
