The only thing that he had been taught it was worth for was to die. Suicidal ideation never went over well with teachers when he was younger, especially near ten or so, which left him pulled out from schooling and taught programs at home. Not that he ever had to actually pay attention to them—his dad never graded him on any of his assignments, so he learned not to pick it up.
He could control that.
