It started, as most terrible ideas did, with Jay.
“Why are they always so dreary? All the brooding and the monologues. If I was a villain, I’d at least have fun with it. Cool lair, dramatic entrances… maybe a tiger.”
“Please," Kai scoffed, "you’d be a villain who stops to help kittens out of trees. You have the moral backbone of a chocolate éclair.”
“Oh yeah?” Jay shot back, “You think you could do better, Mr. ‘I-Pout-When-I-Lose-At-Jenga’?”
“I could be an amazing villain,” Kai declared, puffing out his chest. “I'd be so efficient. Completely no-nonsense. Y'know, get things done.”
“Prove it,” Jay dared, eyes gleaming. “One day. Be ‘Villain Kai.’ See if you can even last till lunch without helping a little old lady cross the street.”
It was a stupid dare. A joke. That’s how it began.

Summary
Zane had always known he was different.
That much was obvious. He was never a people person, even with Wu. But he always watched when others acted. Facninating, they were. He couldn't help it. And living in close proximity to said people didn't really help his case.
Cole was grounded, Jay was not, and Zane was neither.
Or:
Zane wants purpose. They all do. All of them, except Kai.
He wants to know why Kai doesn't want to be a Ninja.

Summary
Izuku does end up jumping. He climbs himself straight to the roof, just like Kacchan asked. Exactly as he asked. Isn't he happy? Isn't he grateful the annoying little Deku finally rid himself of his existence?
Kacchan Isn't happy at all.
Well, that won't do. He'd asked for this himself. Why all the sadness? Why all the regret?
That wasn't fair. That wasn't fair. Izuku had done it. He'd done it. There's no taking it back. Izuku is dead.
Even in death, Izuku will never leave Kacchan be. Not until he wipes that worthless, disproportionate, regretful look off of his ungrateful fucking face.
Izuku will not stop until Kacchan acts appropriately.
Even if he has to torture him for it.
Or: Bakugo is being haunted by the ghost of Izuku Midoriya. Izuku is not happy with him in the slightest.

Summary
Hunger starts small.
Kai feels it fluttering beneath his ribs, like a bird rattling against a cage. It flares and dies now and again, calling him back to that aching feeling. At first, it's nothing to note. He'll just stuff his face with whatever until it leaves.
But after a while, it takes a little more to placate. After a while, it takes too much. After a while, it takes everything.
After a while, it's all that's left. And nothing in the 16 realms can satiate it.
Except one thing.
And he hates it.
Or:
Killing the omukade turned out to leave quite the hefty consequence. Now holding it's curse, Kai finds that on some nights, only something specific can whet his appetite.
Who knew elemental masters could be so... crunchy.

Summary
The first emotion I remember taking note of was fear. Don't laugh! It's really true. I remember I was seven, and I had just seen someone die for the first time. I thought, that could be me. That was going to be me.
I cried to my mother for an hour. I think, although its silly, that's why I do what I do. I spent most of my childhood thinking about the future, that the present just slipped away. By the time I looked back, the only thing I could see was an overgrown path; full of weeds I'd never paid attention to.
I'm not going to live like that anymore. I'm going to take note of everything: Of everything that has been, will soon be, and never will. I think thats the only way I'll ever die at peace.

Midoriya Izuku is medically quirkless, not technically homeless, perpetually exhausted and doing his damned best despite it all. He also sees spirits, which might be cool if not for the fact that a) no one else does, b) they really don't like him very much, and c) he's pretty sure the heroes now think he's a villain working for the League.
Aizawa Shota just wants to take down Overhaul, rescue Eri, keep his students alive, get some rest, and find out how this Deku kid knows things he absolutely should not know about his personal life and the Shie Hassaikai case.
Unless Nighteye's right, and the kid really is a villain.

Jesus, my back.
I pause, gasping for breath — I'm genuinely sweating. And embarrassed. I wonder if Rocky can hear me losing to a slab of wood.
God, I hope he can't. Please God.
It's stuck behind a few empty crates and some miscellaneous spare lab supplies. A few beakers. A blender, for some reason. An ironing board. Why? Because go to hell, Ryland Grace, that's why. You can't have enough fuel to come back but you can have an ironing board with no iron. Here's two kilos of cement-flavoured coma slurry. Kill yourself.
"I'm being dramatic," I tell myself aloud.
I'm really not. Dying in space is a very dramatic situation.
The ways that Rocky and Grace miss everything all the time, yet watch over each other, always.

Summary
After she accidentally trips into Adrien and apologizes about "falling for him," Marinette learns that he's no match for cheesy pick-up lines--whether they were unintended or not. And while she finds it flattering that he turns into a flustered mess with only a few words, Marinette comes to regret making him uncomfortable. That is, until she learns he's Chat Noir. At which point the phrase "just deserts" becomes a permanent fixture in her everyday plans.
A story in which Adrien is flustered, Marinette is smooth as glass at dropping lines, and Chat Noir gets the romance he was always asking for--even if he doesn't quite know how to handle it.
