Sunday, the day for magical recipes. He was supposed to be a good boy helping in the kitchen, but standing there in nothing but an apron and a white skirt was Will’s first mistake. Mike is a possessive alpha with a very specific appetite and he has far dirtier plans for his helpless little toy. Once he takes his first taste, a ruined kitchen becomes the least of their worries. “Bored?” Will echoes faintly. A strange buzzing has started up in his ears.
“Yeah,” Lola laughs. “I swear, when I act like I brat, it makes his day. Even if he pretends to hate it.” She pauses, taking a sip of her drink. “I mean, isn’t it the same with your boyfriend?”
Will’s stomach gives a funny little lurch. “Uh. Yeah. Yeah, I guess so.”

Will loves being good for Mike. But now, he's worried that maybe he's a little too good. Mike shows him that he has nothing to worry about.

"Don't forget to call."
"I won't. I'm at a payphone right outside of the bar." That's another thing Max and Jane hate, the way that Mike expects him to check in every two hours when he's out without Mike. Will doesn't really understand why they make such a big deal out of it. Mike only does it to make sure he's safe.
"Okay, baby. I love you."
Will smiles and suddenly doesn't feel as cold, the sentiment of Mike's words warming him inside and out. "I love you too." There's a pause, a shuffling through the handset, and then the sound of condiment bottles settling as their refrigerator door shuts.
"And be careful, baby." Will can hear the way Mike's voice changes and grows more confident as a smile likely settles across his features. "There's a serial killer out there."
Or, Mike and Will continue to navigate their love a few years after Will’s printmaking class in the wake of the Party’s opinions on their relationship and a serial killer on the loose.
