Summary
Seungkwan’s one rule is he doesn’t cry at work, not inside the ER at least. In the locker rooms, sure. In the break rooms, if he really needs to. There’s always tissues in the break room and he keeps eye drops in his locker anyway.
He thought he was over it. He’s 27 now, and the whole ordeal was at least seven years ago. He completed his treatment, took (and still takes) his medication, changed his routine to be more regulating. He did everything right. And perhaps above all, he made it out; isn’t that’s what’s most important? Jeonghan and Wonwoo and Jun all struggled with their own minds as well, so Seungkwan’s not quite sure why he feels so bad about his own past. He knows better than to beat himself up for the past, and knows he’s better now — he’s here, isn’t he?
But today, when Seungkwan reaches the locker rooms, he sits on a bench and buries his head in his hands.
And he sobs. -
