Summary
Scaramouche has worked as a book clerk for a couple of years now. The store he owned was next to a vacant lot that had been that way since he opened up shop. He didn’t mind it since it meant work was quiet and he didn’t have to deal with any annoying neighbors.
However, that all changed when that empty building was finally bought. Scaramouche didn’t realize how much he was going to dread the person moving in until he found out that the person who bought the lot was opening a cake shop. A shop filled with sickeningly sweet treats and tooth-rotting filth was going to be right next to him. Even though he hates sweets he hates the guy who owns it more. He constantly tries to bombard him with new desserts that he would rather choke on than enjoy.
Scaramouche would avoid ever talking to the guy if he didn’t keep checking out books and then refusing to return them until he went over to get them back. He doesn’t want to form a friendship and he definitely doesn’t want to eat the food he brings him but the boy refuses to give up until he wins him over. As he says…it’s just a matter of time before he falls victim to his charming smile.

“Well…” Durin lowered his voice. It wasn’t that he didn’t trust Hat Guy — far from it, the scholar was one of his closest companions — but this felt more… personal to him and Albedo. “I guess I’m wondering what Durin was like. You know. The one before me.”
It was only for the briefest of moments, but Durin caught the way Albedo’s eyes narrowed. Then he sighed and patted the ground next to him. “Sit.”

the celebration of durin’s newly-achieved permanence is cut short by a freak avalanche that traps the little dragon and his brothers in albedo’s mountain camp with no way to contact the outside world or find out if help is coming.
meanwhile, durin starts having strange dreams, albedo grows more distant by the day, and hat guy is threatening an international incident.

“What are you saying?! Has the imprisonment in Aaru made you completely mad?!” Sobek stared at his friend in disbelief.
“I just find it curious. Are we sure this man is simply an attendant to the leader of the Temple of Silence?”
Thoth was quiet throughout the whole exchange, almost as if lost in thought. Heryshaf’s question finally triggered him to speak. “You might be right. No mere attendants, even among mortals, act like this around their superiors. Surely they would have more respect, even in this day and age.”
“Then this must mean that man is more than just an attendant.” Thoth suddenly let out a gasp. “Perhaps he is the little fledgling’s consort!”
“I must say, Hermanubis’s heir has a poor taste in consorts, if that’s true.” Sobek crossed his arms. “He looks nothing special. Not even a Tighnarian! So unbecoming for the former vessel of Hermanubis.”
“Like I said, we should refrain from placing judgements just yet. Especially if the Dendro Archon and the leader of the Temple of Silence seem to treat him so highly.”
The Three Kings “help” Sethos court Wanderer, with mixed results…

Summary
Durin gets pulled into a strange Ley Line anomaly and wakes up alone in a Teyvat he doesn’t recognize. He meets Scaramouche, thinking that it’s just some strange alternate timeline where Hat Guy is a Fatui Harbinger, but it’s only a matter of time before he learns that he’s actually been pulled into a past that the world should have forgotten.
He also ends up joining the Fatui, somehow, but that’s neither here nor there. The important part is that he needs the help of both Scaramouche and the Albedo of the past to help him solve his Ley Line problem… if he can get them to work together, that is.

Summary
Kazuha is Kunikuzushi’s heart. Seriously. When their love grew to be so great that just the metaphysical could not hold it, it manifested a bleeding, beating heart in the hollow space of Kunikuzushi’s chest. Its first reverberating, almost thundering pulse brought him to his knees in the middle of Treasure Street, surrounded by gawking merchants and passersby. The second pulse made him keel over, made tears flood his eyes, and ripped a strangled yell from his throat.
Because why shouldn’t it? Isn’t this what he has so deeply desired since he was granted sentience, lying in his mother’s lap. And wasn’t this yearning for a human heart what made Ei discard him, what killed Niwa, and so many innocent people that got pulled into the fire with him.
Isn’t this heart what he wanted so bad it almost killed him countless times, and whose absence did kill him in the eyes of the world.
And to get it now . . .
Slowly dying of Abyssal Poisoning, Kazuha asks only one thing of Kunikuzushi: to stay.

He is not a mother. The word ‘mother’ suggested that the puppet cared for the things he had birthed, loved them before they came into the world. Saying that he is a mother meant that the creatures he had borne were formed of his own flesh and blood, untainted.

And you’re treating me some tiramisu once class’s over.”
Leaning his cheek against his hand, Suisen stares at his best friend. Nahida, who never seems to understand what people are saying, but always listens attentively regardless. Nahida, who dances with the birds and leaves, just as much as she sings along with the crowds on the chorus. You do not belong in the monotony of the lecture halls and the tall towers of the Akademiya, he often thinks to himself, of her. You belong out there in the world, admiring everything there is to be seen, being loved by everyone there is to see you.
“We don’t have to wait until class is over, do we?”

He takes the twitch of Wanderer's mouth to mean that he guessed this already. Matching a soft smile, he continues. "These days, I travel with the Crux Fleet, or explore various nations by myself." A pause—he's not entirely comfortable talking about himself this much. "…Can I assume the 'Wanderer' title means you've been to many places, like me?"
Wanderer takes a long moment before replying in a soft voice. "Sure."

For some reason, the Traveler laughed. It was still soft and nearly-hollow, but it was more emotion than he’d shown all day.

The Wanderer had gotten very good at ignoring his own thoughts.
“Good point.” The Traveler stretched, arms held high and yawn loud. Which was stupid. There were several weak points that could be exploited like that, especially with the smooth expanse of his skin on display. Not for the first time tonight, Scaramouche’s cheeks warmed, and he tried to look anywhere but Childe’s deep blue eyes, but it was impossible when they were practically pressed against each other. He felt incredibly small when he quietly asked, “What are you doing?”
“Acting like an adult,” Childe replied, like it was a proper explanation. Scaramouche sucked in a breath when he felt fingers creeping along the skin of his hip, teasing at the waistband of his shorts. “That’s what you wanted, right?”
