Shane himself was now awakening, his transparent wings fluttering prettily as he took in Ilya’s presence. He smiled.

“Hello, fairy version of Shane,” Ilya replied, gliding over to where Shane was sitting.
Oh, cool, he can fly.
As Ilya reached out to trace Shane’s pretty face with his fingertips, Bood shouted, “DON’T YOU DARE HAVE SEX HERE, TOO!”
Ilya rolled his eyes, annoyed. “Stop intruding on my dreams and let me fuck Shane.”
“Yeah,” Shane agreed supportively.
“You aren’t fucking dreaming!” This time, the cockblocking comment came from Hazy.

Shane Hollander is nineteen years old the second time he smokes.
He thinks that he coughed a little less than before, since this time he is expecting the kick in his throat. He finishes it off and flicks the butt into the trash can with a warm, fuzzy feeling in his chest, replacing the previous burn.
And of course, someone who has smoked twice in a span of eight months is not a smoker—that’d be ridiculous.
(He adds the remaining nineteen cigarettes in with the first abandoned pack. No one has to know.)
(He does not throw them away.)
