Summary
"Mike?" Will asks, jaw dropped open in bewilderment, hand still clutching the door knob.
The Mike standing in front of him is wearing a rickety jacket that almost swallows his thin frame entirely, and has his arms curled around himself, his shoulders hunched. His hands play with his sleeves as if nervous. His body is trembling. And it's the state of his body that really makes Will's blood run cold in horror.
There are bruises all over Mike's face. The black eye he has is stark against the whiteness of his skin, reminding Will of drops of dark paint on a blank canvas. His lip is busted, and Will can see traces of dried blood on him. And most noticeably, he has a ring of bruises around his neck, in the shape of hands.
Upon seeing Will at the door, Mike's expression simultaneously lightens and crumples.
"Will." He croaks out, desperation and vulnerability clear in his shaky voice.
After not speaking nor seeing eachother for 5 years, Mike suddenly turns up at Will's door, bruised and bloodied.

Mike remembers the times he went to church when he was little, back when his parents forced him to go, his mom brushing and straightening his hair and dressing him up in a cute little polo shirt as if he was a doll, as if they were the picture perfect nuclear family they pretended to be infront of others. He remembers the things the pastor had went on and on about.
He remembers that in order for a new seed to sprout from the ground, it must first die.
He remembers the way he smashed his fist into his reflection, making the mirror shatter around him, and opened up a new pathway of his own.
Mike is tired of remembering.
He raises up the baseball bat in his hands, and slams it into the back of his younger self's head.
Mike kills himself again and again, and in the end, is reborn once more.

Summary
Each time the question "So, how did you two get together?" gets asked to Will and Mike, Will groans in embarrassment and puts his head in his hands in an attempt to hide his increasingly reddening face, while Mike starts snickering in amusement at his reaction and the memories that specific question brings.
Being the avid storyteller he is, Mike of course gets to explaining.
Or: The story of how Will ended up getting together with Mike by telling him he wants Mike to sit on his face.

Summary
Instead of wasting time thinking about stuff like this, Mike should really get a move on already and start struggling, push Vecna away from him, make a run for it, and not just stand there gawking like an idiot. But when he's being pushed against the wall and looked at like that by Will, even if the one in front of him is not Will but instead Vecna impersonating him, his gaze making Mike feel as if he's being towered over despite Will being the shorter one, his voice cold and degrading in a way Will's voice had never been and that tone making a strange feeling start to swirl around in Mike's stomach, his arm which Mike can't help but notice has now actually gained some muscle definition compared to when they were younger trapping Mike against the wall...
Suddenly, inexplicably, Mike's ears start to redden.
Vecna possesses Mike. Mike maybe learns something new about himself.
