Summary
There's something about Ransom that Vespa's never quite been able to figure out – and when Vespa's puzzled, she usually bypasses confusion in favour of a one-way ticket to pissed as hell. Is she better at keeping it under wraps, now? Sure. Does she accept him into the goddamn family? Fine. For Buddy. But when she passes him carrying Buddy's long-lost good luck charm, Vespa doesn't snap. She doesn't pin a knife to the slippery bastard's throat and ask why. Instead, she takes a breath, and goes to her wife for answers.
(Nureyev, for his part, was certain he'd managed to leave his past behind. But one little slip and it seems an old job he'd rather keep forgotten will be coming to light sooner than he thinks, and he'll just have to deal with the fallout. It's fine. It's all completely fine.)

“Is everything okay with you?” Lucy asks.
Okay? Natsu feels amazing. He loves the smell of Lucy’s hair, and the sound of her laugh, and the way her lips move around words, and he wants to be with her forever. And his whole body’s tingling like it’s on fire, and his entire face feels warm, and his stomach feels like when he’s on a vehicle revving up, and he might throw up soon. So apparently, he also feels awful.
“I don’t know,” he sighs.
According to Natsu, dating is more trouble than it's worth. In any case, figuring out how he feels about Lucy can wait until after they've finished the Quest.
But a recent run-in with not just one, but two alternate versions of himself who are both 1) very opinionated on the subject of romance and 2) very set on figuring out Natsu's own views on the matter might force him to reflect and, possibly, reconsider.Bookmarked by thelowlysatsuma

Fairy Tail, Blue Pegasus, Sabertooth, Lamia Scale. All of the Guilds of Fiore, the Rune Knights, Princess Hisui, the Council. They stumbled.
They fell.
They Failed.
And when all that remained was a desperate hope to turn back the clock itself Lucy opened the Eclipse Gate. She turned away from the loss and the bloodshed and the screaming and she cast her hopes into the Stars themselves. She would do it all again. Every bruise, every tear, every heart break. She would do it all again, just for the chance of victory.
Acnologia victorious?
No.
Fairy Tail, unbroken and unbent.
She would not fail again.
