Summary
Harry Potter ... is just done. Dumbledore fucked off after being confronted about the DA so Harry is done playing nice. He's done doing whatever to make everyone else feel better. It's time he told them so.
With OWLs around the corner, Harry takes on all the detentions of everyone from the DA, from the signed roster. If no one else in the school is going to stand up for the students of Hogwarts, then Harry would. It was time someone realized that the students were being abused at school, being used to further some idiot's agenda about a potential war.

Summary
Sirius Black is called to fulfill an ancient duty of House Black assigned by Magic itself, and Harry Potter makes a startling discovery on a visit to Gringotts in the summer before his third year.
Re-write of HP starting from a week after Harry arrives in Diagon Alley in Book 3. Canon is treated very loosey-goosey at best and completely and utterly discarded at worst. Don't read this if you're a big stickler for canon. Not particularly relationship-focused, no pairings have been decided yet but I will tag them once they appear. Heavily dives into my own interpretation of Wizarding nobility and the function of the Ancient and Noble Houses, with some elements borrowed from other fics/fanon elements but nothing is explicitly copied, these are my own ideas that carry influences from the rest of fanon.
Features a Harry that slowly grows into his own role as a powerful wizard and a Sirius that learns to grow up and process his life. I'm going to try and stay away from making characters overpowered, so this isn't quite OP!Harry but it's definitely Powerful!Harry who, by the end of the story, will convincingly be going toe-to-toe with the other powerhouses in the setting.

Got to chapter 11
Summary:
*During the time he is left alone in Diagon Alley, Harry goes to the bank. There he gets a new key for his vaults made (old ones are inactive), gets an inheritance test and gets his heirship along with the ring. He unseals his parents' wills and the goblins organize the hearing.*Through the wills, Harry gets a new guardian - Amelia Bones. Susan doesn't like harry and is not willing to give him the benefit of the doubt after second year and decides to stay at Hannah's for the rest of the vacation.
*Harry figures out that Dumbledore had a very big part in having Harry put with the Dursleys. He tells all he's found to Hermione.
*Harry goes to a magical healer where they heal him, fix his eyes and remove the infant magical block that's still on his magical core.
*Harry goes through a long(ish) recovery process. The healers are trying to figure out wtf is wrong with his scar.
*And the Black family seems to be weirder than usual with ghosts coming from the past to yell at the current lord and heir for some reason. Not clear what that's about yet.
*Sirius escapes Azkaban with the help of one of those ghosts.

Summary
Harry tries to answer when Fudge questions him at the Ministry for his trial, but quickly figures out that that isn't going to happen. He's not actually present for a trial, that was just pretense. This is a sentencing and Harry is done having to explain himself to people who already don't believe him. So he just sits and waits until Fudge loses his patience and finally tells him to speak.
So he does. And being able to do so, changes the entire premise of the hearing. From what Harry can see, Madam Bones had been hoping for that to happen so she could take over and properly run an interview as was meant to happen. Instead of being done in a few short hours, things take much longer. By the time they take a mid-day recess, even Lucius Malfoy appears to be on Harry's side.

Slight Dumbledore and some Order member bashing. Sane Voldemort but Horcruxes do exist. A Harry/Voldemort but incredibly slow-burn. Not really graphic in deaths at least not yet. If that changes the rating will change. -

As he turned to walk back to his mother a blur of red crashed in to him. It was Ron with Draco's wand in hand pointed at Harry. “Don’t worry, pet” Vernon said, his nasty grin triumphant, “I’ll leave him someplace so far away that those freaks will never trace him back to us. There’s an institute up north, for these- these hopeless cases and whatnot - St Brutus's Secure Centre for Boys. I’ll leave him there, and then we can get back to our nice, normal life”.Or, the one where Harry doesn't attend Hogwarts in first year but finds his way to the wizarding world anyway, and this changes everything.
