This is my (low quality) English assignment that I have decided to write out on my laptop at home and then copy down into my book because we are only ever allowed to write on paper in class and the Ghost of Marley knows that I am as helpless with that type of thing as a snake is with crochet hooks and a ball of pink sparkly yarn.
Basically in this Scrooge talks about how he feels after he is visited by Marley’s Ghost, since that is what my teacher asked for. Considering the length of this fic, I doubt a more detailed summary is required.

Ebenezer Scrooge's sister, Fan, dies at age five as a result of the abuse experienced via their alcoholic father. He is locked away in jail for his abuse of the children and Scrooge is orphaned. Later to be adopted by a loving couple, the Fezziwigs. When he is enrolled in public school, Scrooge meets the boy he'll forever know as his closest friend - Jacob Marley. Yet, unbeknownst to Scrooge - Marley is heavily obsessed with him. However, at age 15, Scrooge enters a relationship with a girl called Belle Savelli. Marley begins to spiral himself into insanity, discarding his family, years of his life and sanity to plot and scheme Scrooge and Belle's demise - All in an effort to have Scrooge to himself, believing that they are destined for one another, but are his efforts in vain?
This is a prequel to an already finished fic called Increase The Surplus Population (ITSP) and part of a 3 part series. This fic provides incredibly key context and character building plot for the characters of Marley, Scrooge and Belle. ITSP is due for a re-write once this fic is finished.

Truly, the odds were not in favour of their jolly little event. For one, there was worry about the lack of all the necessities needed to provide for all his guests. Furthermore, the fact that it took place only a day after the murder trial had left all his guests' nerves rattled. On top of that, the announcement of the Huffam's baby being born that very evening set everyone on edge.
Considering the circumstances, enjoying the easiness of the holidays was not a simply task.
Nevertheless, as every overzealous showman says in the face of a challenge, the show must go on. Therefore, the event went on. And, importantly, maintaining merriment became a collective effort."
Following the trying events of the "Rothschild Trial", everyone is in desperate need for a moment of tranquility to commemorate the Christmas season. So, they do, and allow themselves to relax into the easiness of the holidays. However, tensions, though lessened, are not relinquished fully. Additionally, some tension among the party are more well hidden that others.
