Then there she was. That stupid, cocky, ignorant, smirk plastered on her face. Caitlyn’s grip on her pencil and pocket watch tightened until her knuckles were white. Violet hadn’t even looked at her yet, but was fiddling with the zipper of her duffle bag.
“Sorry I’m-” She finally looked up. She was wearing her hair up. Strange. “Locker room girl” she said with a smirk. Caitlyn felt her eye twitch as she referenced their locker room encounter, she was surprised Violet remembered.
“You’re who I have to tutor?” Caitlyn said she felt her lip curl upwards slightly. Violet had done far too much of that vanilla cologne. Then Caitlyn noticed the beads of sweat, she must’ve just gotten back from practice, didn’t have the time to shower?
That’s why Caitlyn would’ve left practice early.
“Yeah, I guess. You’re my mysterious tutor” Violet said, raising her eyebrows dramatically and mimicking Caitlyn's tone with a rather shitty British accent.
“Will you pick your feet up?” Caitlyn snarled.

Summary
That is how the story goes, and that is how it was passed from generation to generation, to you. Nothing in the story changed over time, despite how long ago it was. Everything was written exactly as the bards during that time had.
Yet, it couldn’t be more wrong. It wasn’t a story of good and evil; it was a war of injustice and neglect. A time where the lines of good and evil were blurred and could not be distinguished. There weren't happy endings, only endings. Endings that could’ve been avoided, but never were.
The only similarity to fairytales this story has is love. Love was the main culprit of the story, but no amount of convincing could persuade the historians of this.
This is the story of Jayce Talis, and how he found love somewhere he would’ve never expected, and destroyed himself with it.
Or: Jayce is a blacksmith and meets a secret witch named Viktor. It's their mission to save their kingdom, but not everyone can have a happily ever after.

Vander sighed and rubbed his temple, his old partner could be so stubborn, "Silco, what good is an independent nation if everyone there is either an addict, a criminal, a cripple or an orphan?" He said, listing his grievances with his fingers, "You want your revolution, I want to ensure we can pass something better to our children."
At that, the Eye of Zaun raised an inquisitive eyebrow, "So how to do you propose we do that?" He asked, taking a sip of his whiskey.
"We're both smart men, we'll figure something out."

Summary
Vi was alive. She was alive in a different universe, but this was a meaningless distinction. All she had to do was replicate Ekko's device and follow him. All she had to do was not fuck it up and end up in the wrong universe.
Or how poor innocent AU Powder ended up in the claws of an amnesiac Vi raised by Silco who's a predatory asshole and wants nothing more than to get into Powder's pants.

Summary
Jayce is a selkie who gets captured by the most infamous and cruel pirates in all of Valoran to be sold off to a nobleman. Not wanting to live the rest of his life in a loveless marriage, Jayce has only goal on his mind: Find his seal coat and get back to his family.
Viktor is a cartographer down on his luck and sees an opportunity of a lifetime. All he has to do is catch The Pirate King and not die in the process. Sounds easy enough. However, things get complicated when he comes across Jayce, whose hostility and distrust toward humans makes them butts heads constantly.
With pirates on their tail and more obstacles being introduced, they are forced to work together if they both want to get out of this alive.

“Vi,” Ekko finished. Powder nodded and he sighed. “Pow, you do realize she’s not gonna be our Vi, right? She could be a completely different person. Besides, what if she has a Powder of her own?”
Powder knew he had several points. The logical thing to do would be to destroy the Z-drive and the gemstones and never think about interdimensional travel ever again. It was selfish to assume she could go to another universe, meet another Vi, and have her sister back–even if it was just for a short while. But Powder was finding it incredibly difficult to care about logic. She wanted to see her sister, even if it wasn’t her sister.
