Summary
Twenty years after the Reaper War has ended, life returns to a somewhat normal state. While the many species of the Milky Way have not yet fully recovered from the Reaper War, they are on the mend. Commander Shepard, legendary Spectre and hero of the Galaxy, still continues his military career after choosing to destroy the Reapers and somehow, in the process, managing to keep Synthetic life such as the Geth and EDI alive. But he is no longer the only Shepard in the Galaxy as he and Ashley Williams have a child.
Aurelia Shepard, daughter of Commander Shepard, has a big legacy to fulfill and a lot of eyes are on her and she knows it. Despite that fact, Aurelia doubts that any threat will be as great as what the Reapers had been. Unfortunately for her, the universe itself loves proving people who believe that wrong and she finds herself in the midst of what could be another war. For, without the Reapers to provide a threat to them, the Leviathan are starting to make their move but first, Aurelia needs to help deal with the remnants of Cerberus who are proving still to be royal pains in the rear.

Deep in the snowy mountains, the Entity has found a new killer for its collection; a monster haunted by grief, driven by an unstoppable hunger for death and surviving on pure animalistic instincts. Only that said monster won't join the fog at the Entity's demand as expected. So a troop is sent out to catch the mountain's legend. But what if the killers send to retrieve said monster become the hunted instead? Lost in a territory they have never been in before where every step can be their last, danger might be close then they expect. After all.. not all monsters reveal their true self from the start. And perhaps none of them are as safe and alone as the snow makes them believe to be.
And is another monster for the trials really a good idea, especially one with more secrets than anyone expected?

She slams her foot on the brake, the van jerking to a halt against the curb. She hooks her arms under his and lifts him, shifting his weight across the center console. She settles him into the passenger chair, pulling the belt across his chest and clicking it into place.
Izzy sinks into the driver’s seat, finally sitting in it the way a person is supposed to. Her lap feels cold, but her heart is finally starting to slow down. “Better,” she rasps. “Now, I’m driving. For real.”
tl;dr: After a terrifyingly vivid dream of a fatal car accident, Izzy wakes up to find the day repeating itself in chilling detail. Every sign points toward the same conclusion. She thinks she can outrun fate by changing the seating chart. She thinks she’s found a way to save JJ. She doesn't realize that some debts to destiny have to be paid—just by a different person.
