It only dawns on Phoenix when he arrives at the agency that, though he'd scrambled up eggs for Trucy, he'd not actually fed himself that morning. He'd only barely managed to drag himself out of bed - it's pretty hard these days, in his defense, with Edgeworth warm and asleep and tucked into his side - and only through the grace of the very same man has he arrived at an hour barely adjacent with the concept of "on time." Breakfast had not, in all honesty, been his top priority.
Phoenix skips a couple of meals. His friends worry.

Summary
This little brain blorb has been jangling around my head. DL6 didn't happen and the childhood friends stayed friends. Shenanigans ensue.
I LOVE THEM.
I wanted to explore that beautiful friendship dynamic that we see so little of in the franchise. And this is mostly just silly domestic friendship stuff aside from Phoenix pining for Miles HARD. (and vise versa but he doesn't know that just yet.) There is a bit of a trauma jump scare that I'm planning a little further in. But hey! You don't need to worry about that right now :D
(The trauma will lead to better things, trust.)
For the most part it's just a buncha college aged boys dicking around. And Maya is there to bully the shit out of them (in a funny sibling way).
P.S The eventual smut is real and it gets a lil crazy be prepared. 😋

Now infuriated Phoenix raised his voice he was slowly coming to the realisation that Miles had lived with this man for nearly the majority of his life “Because you took a vacation for several months starting the day after the incident! Yet you pride yourself on a perfect record! Why would you take such a long vacation without any reason!?”
A stunted silence staring at the famed prosecutor quite swiftly had their attention driven to another.
“You what?” All attention drawn to the downturned silver head with only a murmur. Phoenix witnesses two of three of the black psyche locks half unlocking and shattering at once.
