Summary

Derek pushes forward, presses down on Spencer side again, his hand stained crimson. "Spencer, what!? No, I'm not—I'm not leaving you to bleed out, what the hell are you talking about?"
"Derek, please—" Spencer begs, but his pleas fall on deaf ears.
He can't do this. His restraint is splintering, cracking down the middle, and he could see it, see the cut on Derek's neck, see the crimson blood slowly trickling down his skin, and he needs it, he needs it so badly—
or: Spencer has had many secrets. This is his most terrifying one.

Spencer Reid was in love.
Which statistically speaking, was impossible. On average, Spencer knew it took men around eighty-eight days to fall in love with another person. Generally, Spencer wasn't one to argue with statistics; unlike people, they were reliable. They didn't change at the drop of a hat and once he understood one, it was easy to understand the rest of them. He knew statistics better than the back of his hand; they were always fun to rattle off to the team, even if they didn't always enjoy listening to them. Statistics and numbers were comfortable, they'd never proved him wrong before. But for the first time in his life, Spencer knew the statistics surrounding love were wrong.
Because what should have taken him eighty-eight days to do, his heart had accomplished in twenty seconds.

Spencer let out a warm chuckle and smiled fondly. “Ah come on, it’s not just bribery…you do deserve some new books…and I want something new myself. I know how much you want new books Walter. We could even go big and see if we can find some new cool dictionary for your collection?”, he smirked fondly.
At the mention of a new dictionary all suspicion of bribery or pity faded away instantly and his face lit up with an even bigger smile this time. He looked up at his dad who just laughed and let go of his hand to wrap an arm around his shoulders, and pulled him in closer on the bustling subway.
“That’s my boy.”, he stated proudly, running his hand over Walter’s hair as the boy leaned his forehead on his chest. Spencer had raised a nerd, just like himself.

With that in mind, Aaron makes his way back to the living room.
