“Of course,” Gellert had said. “I’ll take you home. I promise.”

Newt Scamander, wizarding society’s most renowned Magizoologist has finally left his quiet and ordered life in his estate in Great Britain, to travel all the way to America. Muggle America to be precise. His reasons for doing this while probably numerous, all have the underlying theme of answering magizoology’s greatest question of the day.
That is – Muggles? Man or Beast?
If this had been a thousand or so years ago the question would have been simple. Even Pureblood nuts like Salazar Slytherin had never doubted that Muggles were human. Perhaps a lesser kindof human, but men none the less. But now…well, it was the wings really, they complicated everything.
Or a Wing AU in which it is Muggles, and not Wizards, who have wings.

Following the events in Paris, the American and British Auror offices team up to infiltrate Nurmengard castle. However - things are not exactly as they seem. Theseus, Tina, and some other Aurors are captured, and things go very, very wrong. Tina could not have imagined a worse outcome.

How could this be happening? This wasn’t supposed to happen. He had thought or rather hoped that this part of his life was well behind him. But he knew he had just stuffed this pain deep within his heart and mind and hoped nobody would be able to dig it out.
Now he had just been slapped with the past. His first thought was to burn the picture, the fireplace was still blazing, but something stopped him. Maybe it was the world spinning all around him and that he couldn’t breathe.

Compared to Newt’s endearing straightforwardness and unusual way of viewing the world, Theseus was a jerk. Straight-laced, by the books, and conformative to the man. Being chased down by such a haughty Brit, and Newt’s joy in seeing his brother bested left an ill regard in Tina’s mind for the head auror across the pond.

The wizarding world has prospered since Voldemort's defeat. The ministry has been rebuilt, and Hogwarts is on its course to healing from the dark lord's reign. Yet, there is only one man who has not yet healed and sadly, seems to never be able to do so. Harry Potter may have been the chosen one at one point in his life, but now he is an empty shell.
With his constant evading of the grasps of the Ministry, the many personas he has adapted, and the fickle lies he has told, Harry finally gets the karma he has been waiting for. In the form of someone who has been like a sister to him since he had first gone to Hogwarts. Hermione sets him straight, like always. He listens, like always. But, when he goes home and sleeps, he has a dream that forces him to do something stupid.
So when he wakes up on a street from a different time and looks around to find buildings made for a different time, Harry isn't alarmed, but he is confused. He checks the date and realizes what his mission is. He planned to alter the past, and he did, just not in the way he wanted to. Now he is stuck in the past, running from the ministry again but, this time he has someone with him.
