I will choose not to spoil the rest, but I think that takes care of the vital cast. -

Summary
After Dante's defeat, and most of the homunculi defeated, well except for Wrath, and probably Gluttony, Edward was nowhere to be seen.
No one knew where or why Edward went missing, well, except for Elio. He knew immediately when he saw that Alphonse got his body back: Edward sacrificed himself to retrieve Alphonse's physical body, and he was likely able to get through the Gate to the other side. With no other choice, Elio sought to get to the other side and bring Edward back home.
But what Elio didn't fully realize was how much he'd have to sacrifice and endure to reach his goal, sacrificing so much to the point...he'd lose himself forever.

In the midst of Western suits and evening gowns, the princess stood out in a traditional Xingese dress. Layers of sanguine silk hugged her slender frame, a cascade of water rippling with each step she took. Elegant and graceful.
If Roy had to choose, it wasn’t water he’d compare her to. It was wildfire. Uncontrolled. Unchained. A force that had created an upheaval in the landscape of Amestris. Ash and smoke trailed behind its velvet curtain, yet the searing flame didn’t seem satisfied with what it had wrought. The heat was still intense, merely contained, slithering under a veil of courtesy as the princess danced through Amestris' circle of socialites.

Summary
If you want a summary of these ideas, well so many of us love seeing our favorite characters SUFFER. Asahi Kobe of Happy Sugar Life has been one of my favorites for several years now and I want to write about him someday. I'm simply desperate to not lose interest in the ideas I'm about to share.
I'm not gonna go wild with the tags, at least not for now; right now I think they sum up the main focuses of each story.
