Summary
Vincent Whittman dies and wakes up in Cannibal Town with a body that isn’t his and the uncomfortable opportunity to start over. Alastor, twenty years into a deal with Rosie, is supposed to keep the peace, not babysit a mouthy new sinner who keeps breaking rules. He'll protect his privacy, his darkest secrets, at any cost.
While navigating his new reality, Vincent becomes infatuated with a radio show. The host is mysterious, classy and demented. Everything he wants to be. He'll stop at nothing to discover the man's identity, and convince him to show him how he rose to the top.
What begins as reluctant proximity turns into a sadistic friendship and beyond, in a slow-burn story about shame, self-reinvention, and trying very hard not to want the wrong things.

Summary
Alastor can reclaim his staff if he obeys Vox for one hundred days. What Vox frames as a deal quickly becomes something else entirely: a slow psychological struggle between two demons who have spent decades sharpening themselves against each other. Vox expects control. Alastor refuses submission.
As proximity tightens, familiar power dynamics corrode. Vox’s systems begin to fail under the strain, stability cracking in ways he cannot fully contain. While Alastor is pulled toward a closeness that feels increasingly dangerous. This bargain was never meant to be endured without consequence.It will end in ruin.
The only question is whose.

Vox has never danced much, and certainly never with another male. He’s a little nervous, but Alastor’s here. He looks at the man’s face, and they’re about the same height. He’s still smiling. He smells like rot and decay and blood, but everyone does, at least a little. Vox can hear the static cackle in the air.

Overlord Vox, established member (read: leader) of the Vees, is kind of obsessed with this guy that's been catching a lot of media attention up top! What can he say? He really appreciates an artist! But when he finds out that his favorite true crime podcaster has been knocked off the mortal coil, the irony is just too much!
He knows what they say about meeting your heroes, but…simping for serial killers, it’s not like the guy ended up in heaven, so what’s truly stopping Vox from rolling out the red carpet and giving a warm welcome to the one newcomer to hell that really deserves it?
