Though armed with awkward smiles, stupid jokes, and warm head-pats that make Peter feel a little like a house cat, Peter's spidey-sense tells him there's more to his uncle than meets the eye.
The way Eddie talks to himself when he thinks he won't be overheard, the way Peter's instincts warm him of something powerful lurking nearby, and the distinct smell of something not quite of this world... Peter is pretty sure he just scored two uncles for the price of one. He's just not sure how to bring it up; especially when he's pretty sure whatever's inside Eddie can sense is spider mutations.
OR: Eddie and Venom clumsily navigate uncle-hood, Peter is Spiderman and doesn't know how to break the news, and none of them know what the actual fuck is going on.
