Perhaps it was the rain, the weather forecast had called it the worst storm in decades—at least one to hit Gotham, which already did have pretty bad thunderstorms. The first droplets fell at 7 am, as if they were the warning of something way, way bigger coming.
Perhaps it was that spider that Dick had seen in his bathroom and that scurried below the sink after he screamed to the top of his lungs, seeing him with its thousand all-seeing eyes, hairy legs crawling in between all the cracks full of mold that he had promised himself to clean as soon as he could.
Or maybe it was the call. It was definitely the call.

That wasn’t necessarily true. They would all find their way back by dinner time at the latest. But it was true enough for the moment. Sorta like when someone promises forever but they only really have right now. Because sometimes forever means the same thing as right now and sometimes “however long you need” is the same as “however long I can give you”.
Seven times the Bats learn something New about Dick's time as Batman and one time they go to court about it.

Summary
After an argument with Jason, Dick Grayson goes on patrol and ends up MIA. Jason, looking for his (sorta..) brother accidentally runs into a new villain, who seems more like a confused kid than a cold-blooded assassin. To make matters worse, the boy shares a strange resemblance with Dick, and wears the uniform of the dangerous assassin, Deathstroke.
AKA:
Jason and Dick get into a fight, Dick winds up getting his age re-winded and turned into Renegade (Apprentice Arc). Dick, who's memories are now reset to that time, has to confront his fears, and Jason has to deal with his (now smaller) brother, who wasn't so much of a goody-two-shoes as he thought.
