Cloud turned and found himself facing a mirror he hadn't noticed before, except his reflection was wrong. Too tall, shoulders too broad. Silver hair instead of blonde, falling like silk to a waist Cloud didn't have. Eyes that glowed with something far more dangerous than standard mako enhancement, green and alien and old in a way that had nothing to do with years.
"Well. This is unexpected."
Cloud woke gasping, tangled in his sheets, sweat-soaked and shaking.
Somewhere in the back of his mind, he could still hear that cold voice echoing:

Until Alice begins having visions of a green-eyed teenager in all sorts of compromising positions with Edward. Something about how it would “save the server.” Theo always found Parrot’s dedication weirdly admirable, somewhat charming. But he’d hoped – just once –that Parrot would think of himself. Think of them. Keep at least some of the profit. Not coming home empty-handed like a martyr. To say Theo was fuming was an understatement, he was livid.
