    The first scene of this chapter was one of my favorites the turn to more serious and somber because theyre finally kinda internally addressing their feeling but theh wont and ollie tearing the papers and I hc that the serious not ollie found was something like sometimes i hope I never find you
    And theyre so obvious and oblivious I love it, does kinda give me the same incredible vibes of only found which is high praise for me bc I LOVEEEEEE that fic so much and ik yk its amazing to(I loved that you repped them last chapter I was reading it and like omg)

    At first I read this as them saying theyre gay and I was like I feel like thats obvious kings then I realized

    Kimi finds himself relating to the story. He doesn’t know what to do with the fact he relates, but he does.

    Kimi and Ollie call a lot, and it always ends the same way. They like to do this thing where one of them says you first, and the other says no, you, and then I insist, and so on and so forth, until they’re both giggling and still yet to hang up.
    Theyre so cute help, and then the pain

    And yeah no this soulmark would carry some crazy implications, some of which would make for really interesting stories but thank god it doesnt exist

    This chapter made me cry HARD, painful but also beautiful, love a soulmate au where even genuinely not being soulmates they choose eachother because honestly thats the most beautiful part of love. It not being easy and not being given and still fighting for it because theyre worth it

    Comment has most of my thoughts but this is really good, has their story starting in hs and the intermittent bluid up with mistakes and learning and obliviousness from both sides because how could they mean it? Very good ambience of a fic, some funny moments. Also no heavy angst just a bit of miscommunication and being w other people but they've been in love the whole time

    When they play on the same side of the court, Atsumu pays special attention to Sakusa, not bothering with yelling "Left!" but instead going with something along the lines of "Sakkun!" and "Uni-san!" or his personal favorite "Omi!" just to see the tick in the hitters brow as he runs up.

    Atsumu is so enamored by sakusa immediately its so adorable, he just wants his attention so bad and its lowk love at first sight but like not straight up said shown

    Hi, Sakkun." Atsumu calls, which makes Sakusa pause in his steps, but when he realizes it was atsumu who spoke he walks again, even faster this time.

    Atsumu looks up to see Kiyoomi still staring ahead, half of his face now buried in the green scarf around his neck, ears tinged pink, probably from the cold.
    He gets cold easily, huh?
    He observes the other boy's side profile, praying that Kiyoomi doesn't find it weird that he's mapping out the slope of his nose and the curl falling loose over his forehead and the way his jaw ticks the longer Atsumu doesn't respond.
    "Would ya tape it for me, Omi?"
    This whole scene is so pretty, the environment is such a familiar one to me and theyre so like quietly cute like just so peaceful and careful and beautiful and atsumu being so unsure at the night bc the night is making him open ahh so good
    The cure by Olivia Rodrigo was really fitting here too, not in like message Nessasarily but in like aura

    They weren't him so he couldn't care less about them leaving, about them holding a grudge, about them refusing to hold him after they fuck.
    He wishes he could say the same to who they're an understudy to.

    And i love that the adlers and msby/like competitors in general are friends outside of their competition cause they really do understand eachother and their passions even if theyre also eachothers rivals

    Osamu laughs, gives Atsumu this knowing look that says, you used to not care about this shit, and Atsumu reaches over to hold him by the collar, which he easily dodges.
    Another fav sakuatsu thing for me their habits rubbing off on eachother

    Thinking abt after they get tgt osamu finds out hes literally already said ily months before they got tgt

    Can we talk? I don't need to come in, I'll be quick."
    "Sure," Kiyoomi's eyes sweep up his figure before moving aside, and his apartment comes into view, "but come in."
    Ref to him not letting plp in but he wants atsumu in on top of atsumu always respecting his boundaries
    AND SAKUSA KEEPS ROOTBEAR BC HE MENTIONED IT AND HE WAS ATICIPATING IT

    Yeah but it's for emergencies."
    Osamu's face scrunches, "Emergencies as in for when ya want to sleep with him?"
    Clocked his tea immediately omg

    And it ends with them confessing and being in love just so true
