The trope of charaters being grumpy cats because someone likes their Bae who isnt officially their Bae and theyre jealous and possessive but not like too overtly and their partner doesnt even realize because theyre oblivious and only have eyes for their grumy cat partner is so beautiful
Loved everything about this, jealousy check, on both sides too which is good, basically datting, pinning, obliviousness, cute moments irs just so cute and endearing and like kinda funny but is like the smile way not lol

"So we're close then?" Tamaki pressed eagerly, turning to look at Kyoya directly. "Best friends?"
A smile then, finally. "Yes. We are."
Tamaki leaned closer. "Lovers?"
The smile slipped right off. "No. Not at all."

This is insanely cruel and unusual torture
The guy kyoyas in love whos in love with someone else and he thinks is straight hitting his head and immediately heavily hitting on him after he was just worried if he was okay and then he gets more serious and is like saying hes in love with kyoya and that he feels it and knows its true usually and normal him must be hiding it and launching onto him over his actual girlfriend. Like that is such evil and then ontop of all of that he almost kisses him but then the doctor comes and his girlfriend comes and he remembers everything but changing your whole world view and is back to his in love w his girlfriend who's also a close friend of yours who you almost let the boyfriend kiss. Poor kyoya omg
Also the you feel like my wife made me laugh but also is just more torture for kyoya
Why cant they just talk about their feelings and be a polycule😭
