“Ugh, it’s an unknown number again,” grumbled Hyacinth. “I bet it’s for you, El.”
“Put it on speaker then,” answered Eloise with a dismissive wave.
Hyacinth shrugged in agreement and accepted the call. A female voice filtered out of the phone in a soft, yet urgent tone. “Hello, is this Miss Bridgerton?”
The sisters looked at each other for a moment, before Hyacinth decided to answer. “Yes, this is she.”
“Miss Bridgerton, this is Mrs Boyle from Mayfair Primary. I’m calling on behalf of Amanda Crane, one of our Year Three students.”
Eloise’s eyes widened, recognition flashing through her at the mention of the name. Before Eloise could respond to Mrs. Boyle, Hyacinth beat her to it. “I’m sorry, which Miss Bridgerton are you referring to?”

Eloise was in no rush to share her relationship with her family; it was nice to have something to herself for a change. Until something forces her hand.

“Thanks! Yes, I’m going to be an elf princess. Mike’s in the basement setting up, Lucas and Dustin are there too.”
“Awesome! Jonathan is playing too,” Will explains and drags his older brother with him over the threshold.
“Fun!” She exclaims, looking at Jonathan who blushes.
Will hurries down to the basement as soon as he’s got his jacket off, leaving her and Jonathan alone in the hall.
“So they roped you into this too?” She smirks.
“Y-yeah,” he answers with a little crooked smile.

“If I could be anywhere in the world,” Nico murmurs, Will twitching as Nico’s lips tickle his sensitive skin, “free of constraints or titles or boundaries, I would be here.” He traces a finger down Will’s calf, and this time he makes a sound as he shudders, low and deep and blissful, eyes half-lidded. “Touching you. Holding you. Watching you, in awe of you.” He drags his lips up to the base of Will’s shin, kissing the smattering of freckles there, and follows their discordant pattern up the strong, lithe swell of his calf, across the raised scar on the side of his leg, lingering on the side of his knee. “Worshiping you, my beloved, in your beauty.”
“Flatterer,” Will gasps. His hands slide themselves into Nico’s hair, as they so often do, tightening around the only locks, looping curls around his fingers like black iron rings. “You just want into my bed.”
Nico grins against his skin. “I am in your bed already.”
