The blond frowned, looking back up to the roof. It was an easy answer, but Tommy still took a moment to think over the question. They had told him that he'd need to become a hero to take down the Syndicate, because his power was strong enough. He agreed. Tommy knew it wasn't his choice in the end, but wasn't it?
“It's what I trained for.” There was no follow up question, as Tommy suspected.
OR, Tommy was stolen from his family at a young age. He was taken by the heroes who were meant to protect; instead, Tommy was raised to become a soilder, since his powers were strong enough to defeat the Syndicate. His family.

Twelve days and Wilbur has got to make sure they are the very best ones.
It's Tommy's first Christmas in L'manberg and he's going to make sure it's the very best one.
From presents, sledding, baking and everything in between. He won't let him down, he won't let another year go by and the kid have nothing to celebrate.
_____________Tommy never really celebrated Christmas. Sally didn't come home and decorate or wrap presents. There was no dinner or traditions made. Christmas was more of a myth than a reality. He'd go to school after the break and hear all the stories but tell none in return.
Somehow, Christmas seemed to be real in L'manberg. As if on December 3rd the whole town just transformed into some unknown creature.
Twelve days until Christmas and he just has to wait and hope it doesn't slip through his fingers.
Again.

Tommy was dropped into foster care at age 3 after his mother passed away from cancer and his father sadly decided to take his own life, which left Tommy alone. Tommy wasn’t put in a very good foster care system and he went through many traumatizing and abusive homes. But Tommy is now getting dropped off at Phil’s and Tommy isn’t sure if it will be any different from the others.

Summary
Tommy dodged swing after swing and scrambled across the floor to get away from the hits. He knew if he took one, he would be in deep trouble because this guy could obviously pack a punch. The Wraith swung left and Tommy went to dodge, but then he switched his punch and Tommy couldn’t move in time. A solid hit to the jaw and Tommy was down in the dirt. His eyes watered from the hit and the sand, and everything felt slightly too bright. He was almost convinced he could see the sun even though he hadn’t seen it in over a year. The crowds screamed around him; yelling at him to get up and yelling at him to die.
Or, the origin story of Put Your Faith in Me which tells the story of the childhood Tommy wants to forget.

Phil and Techno are dragons that lost their adoptive egg when humans raided their den, years ago. Ever since then, they have both held a deep hatred for the human race. That is until Phil get lured in by a human boy singing in the woods making him feel a possessive and longing feeling he only felt twice in his life.
Wilbur practically raised Tommy after their mother died, their father abandoning them for the taverns. Good riddance anyway, Wilbur was doing just fine him and Tommy. Especially since he met this hermit that lived in the woods; Philza.
(Or 2/4 SBI are dragons. Phil and Techno are very powerful dragons and have been around for a long time, they find two new hatchling years later in the form of humans and go 'Mine')CHARACTERS NOT CC's. I DON'T CONDONE ACTIONS THAT CC's MIGHT HAVE DONE IRL.

Oh fuck. He’s coming back. Tommy curls up so none of his important organs are accessible, the guy has only strangled him up till now, but there was blood on the tarp, so maybe he likes to stab too. Tommy doesn’t want to be stabbed anywhere important.
Techno just sits on the other end of the couch and bounces his leg, mostly just looking at the fire, but occasionally glancing at Tommy.
“So, uh, you do anything interesting in school today?” he asks, Tommy would laugh at his awkwardness if he wasn’t so confused.
“I failed a math test,” he says. God he wishes he could go back to that being his biggest problem.
