Summary
Set somewhat post Episode 5, but prior to Episode 8. An AU with the 'Reader' entering the Circus and altering the perceptions of the adventures and functioning as a sounding board for Caine...who is rather good at not listening. Chapter 1 introduces the Reader to the Circus, and subsequent chapters will gently delve into acclimating to it. This tale will eventually have explicit content, the tags will be updated accordingly with subsequent chapters, but ultimately this is a slow burn story. Don't expect things to get intense quickly.
Episode spoiler information is marked in the story tags, please be mindful of that.

Summary
You had reached your breaking point with Caine. Since he wouldn’t allow you to skip adventures anymore, you decided to bite him back where it hurt – drag him along with you. What was supposed to be a taste of his own medicine somehow backfired horrifically.
You couldn’t get any peace from him. You were waking up to assortments of gifts outside your door, he seemed to always pop up behind your shoulder the instant you even thought of needing anything, you caught him staring at you with big, sparkly eyes before he zipped away in a panic. Your attempt to make him back off seemed to make him more glued to specifically you than ever before.
It seemed that Jax had put it best when he choked your name out between manic laughter – “Caine has the hots for you?!”

Summary
