Summary
Satoru tries, but he knows he doesn't have what it takes. His words won't convince him. He can't force Suguru too far, because he's afraid of being hated by the only thing he loves. He's strong, the Strongest, maybe (alone, something in his mind whispers) but he's entirely too weak to save Suguru.
It all feels worthless. He exorcises and he trains and he resets his own body every second he is awake, but it's all pointless because he comes back to the dorms and Suguru is there, rotting.
Even if he knows what is happening, Satoru cannot fix it. It snaps into place one day when he finds Suguru puking nothing but stomach acid alone in the bathroom at 3 in the morning, tears running down his pale and sweaty face. Satoru sits with him in the tiny stall, basically on his lap, and lets Suguru rest his sticky face in the crook of his neck while he runs his hands over his hair.
Sorry, he tries to convey with his hands, all while his sleep-deprived mind thinks a thousand thoughts all at once. This cannot continue, is the conclusion it comes to.

“Cursed Spirit Manipulation?”
It’s the second thing Satoru notices, right after the bangs.
His new classmate is a lot to look at, and all of it neat. His weird uniform is neatly pressed. Neat custom collar that Satoru wants for himself. His hands are neatly tucked behind his back and his hair is neatly secured in a bun. Hell, even his smile is neat—literally everything about this guy is neat—except for the bangs.
The bangs stand out. And so does the technique.
Stepping into his new homeroom seven or eight minutes after the start of the school day, Satoru peers over his glasses at the swirling mass of amalgamated cursed energies at Geto Suguru’s center and concludes:
“Man, that’s ass.”
Satoru makes a bad first impression.

Summary
The plan is simple: get Suguru to teach him how to kiss, practice until he's good enough to get a girlfriend, and have the whole normal-guy experience he's apparently supposed to want.
Satoru Gojo is many things. He is not, it turns out, as straight as he thought he was.
Regardless, this posed a problem — because he's supposed to have done the whole girlfriend thing already. He's supposed to have kissed a girl, taken her on a few dates, gotten laid, done the whole ordeal so he had something new to lord over Suguru's head. But in reality, the farthest he's ever gotten with a woman are the ones in the magazines he buys, who are always pretty in a way he can appreciate the same way he can appreciate a nice car or a good meal — pleasant, registerable, and then over. Never the kind of pretty that does what pretty is supposed to do, not the way it happens in movies, where a man sees a woman across a room and it short-circuits his entire brain, makes him abandon his wife and kids for some stranger just because lust — just because something in him was so fundamentally switched on that he lost the ability to be a rational person. That's what was supposed to happen.

Ash shrugs, languid and smooth. "I see the truth about myself. So what? What's wrong with being honest with yourself about what you are?"
Five times Eiji was proud of Ash, and one time Ash was proud of himself. Ash would offer himself to Eiji in every way, but Eiji only wants Ash to ask for what he needs.
