Summary
In the summer of 1929, after being accidentally summoned, Lucifer Morningstar, King of Hell, meets Alastor Le Roux, an experienced serial killer who apparently has no respect or fear for the heavenly or human higher-ups.
After making no deal with the southern man, Lucifer returns to Hell, expecting that interaction to be his last with that man. He doesn’t want to see him dead soon, much less deal with that attitude again.
But since God loves his favorite son very much, things cannot always be as Lucifer wants.
