Summary
His Mom smiles at him with a knowing look, and Jonathan has an arch to his brow like he wants to ask more – but before either can, there’s the sound of a thud.
Will’s smile falls into his stomach. It wrenches with fear, with horror.
All three look to the entrance of the lounge, the direction of the thud.
“Shit,” says someone out of sight, just beyond the entrance, almost too soft to catch.
Will’s blood runs cold, because he knows that voice, knows the specific lilt of it.
“Mike?"
Or, Will comes out on his own terms, to the two people who truly matter - and is overheard by the one other person who means the most. In wake of the revelation, they decide to split off and take the final battle with Vecna into their own hands, all while navigating the undeniable pull that grows between them.

Summary
It’s February 1988, and Mike Wheeler is failing miserably at being "casual." Between mysterious floral deliveries, a suspiciously high budget for art supplies, and "errands" that involve rebuilding destroyed childhood forts, the Party is starting to smell a rat.
Will knows exactly what Mike is up to, but if Mike wants to play the role of the Secret Admirer, Will is more than happy to play the role of the Tease. After all, a Paladin is only as good as the Cleric who keeps him on his toes.

Summary
Soulmarks were special.
Movies liked to romanticize them, sure, but they were more than a mark. They were a symbol of a lifelong bond, of a closeness that many yearned to achieve. Married couples showed them off more than wedding rings if a pair of matching marks appeared, gloating to all that would listen.
The marks were sometimes identical, but other times matching as a pair. It would be something meaningful to the pair, typically, something that brought joy.
Mike and Will had their first matching ones appear when they were 6 years old.

There is something about the way that that affects Mike, that he is far too young to understand, so he just grins even wider and says, “I’m sure it is. And one day when we’re older, we’ll start hearing each other’s thoughts, and then we’ll be unstoppable.”
In a world where everyone has a soulmate, Mike is sure that Will is his, until he isn't. Years later, he realizes he may have been right all along.
