Summary
After the Giant War, Percy's life is looking up. His relationship with Annabeth is strong as ever. Poseidon regularly invites him down to Atlantis to spend time with him and Tyson. The greek and roman have resolved most of their issues. Grover is starting his life's calling as Lord of the Wild. Paul helps Percy get his drivers license, and Percy helps his mom paint a room for his soon to be little sister.
Everything is perfect.
That is, until someone abducts Percy.

Summary
Percy studies the outline of Chicago. What was once a beautiful lively city is now a deadly, haunted wasteland. Percy doesn’t dare go within earshot of the city, and risk alerting it's 3 million undead population. His sword fighting skills have served him well, so far however even he knows that he can’t take on 3 million at the same time, and hope to live. Probably.
Well, there’s no sense in moping over it. Percy shoulders his pack and goes to move on ward, when he smells something in the air.
Smoke.
Percy wonders if the undead have managed to set themselves on fire. It wouldn’t be the first time. However, in the back of his mind, a quiet, hopeful voice says that it could be another human.
Percy hasn’t seen another human or demigod in over three weeks.
Another part of his mind whispers that it could be a trap set by a monster. It definitely wouldn’t be the first time they’ve tried that. Even before this undead apocalypse, monsters tricked Percy, made him hear and see things that weren’t there.
Percy knows that he should keep walking. However, the chance of seeing another demi-god, or even a rare, unturned human is too much to turn up.
Percy follows the smoke.

He wakes up in a forest. He’s on his back lying on the dirt, looking up at the green canopy above him. He doesn't know how he got here. He stands up and looks around.
Suddenly, there's a sound, startling him.
He jumps and spins around. In front of him is a... man. At least, he looks like a man. He’s wearing black jogging shorts, and a green loose shirt.
Something flickers in the back of his mind, but he can’t quite grasp it. The man in front of him, who had definitely not been there a moment ago, seems eerily familiar, but he can’t remember where he’s seen him.
Actually he can’t remember anything, at all.
...
After the Last Olympian and before the Son of Neptune, Percy encounters Hermes a couple times in his amnesiac state.

Summary
A character/relationship study of Hermes, humanity and Percy Jackson.

George and Martha are gone, stolen by Cacus. Hermes's fingers twitch. Everything seems too… quiet without their constant bantering and hissing in his ears.
He goes to Percy Jackson for help. Annabeth Chase is with him, she gets annoyed at his arrival. Percy tells her to go back to their picnic. He turns to Hermes to ask if they can step into his office and then grabs his arm -
Millennia of bad memories of deceitful mortals trying to poison, hurt and trick him instantly rush back to him and instinctively Hermes fingers twitch, milliseconds away from smiting Percy Jackson.
There was a very, very short list of beings that Hermes was so casual, so familiar, so trusting with. His mother Maia for one, his brother Apollo, his snakes, George and Martha, mortal women he fell for, the few sons who he managed to visit and build a relationship and the odd hero or mortal that proved themselves and dedicated their lives to him.
Percy Jackson wasn't any of them.

The Ever Given’s Captain sits down in his office and covers his face in his hands. This is a disaster. A complete flaming heap of landfill - sized disaster, that will probably haunt him for the rest of his life.

“Brother,” Hermes addressed Apollo in their native tongue. “Look.”
Apollo looked up and glanced at Hermes’ phone, before laughing. “I’ve seen that meme already,” Apollo replied in ancient greek. “You’ll have to do better than that. Look at the one my son, Will Solace sent me.”
Apollo held up his phone and Hermes glanced at it. It consisted of three screenshots illustrating the Ever Given as Ragnarök who would defeat Global Capitalism, as Hela.
Hermes laughed. He had to admit, it was good.
Apollo looked smug, as if to say that his children made better memes. Hermes narrowed his eyes and glared, as if to say aww Styx no before scrolling through his phone, looking for more memes created by his children. The competition was on.

Summary
After returning from Camp Jupiter and the quest to stop Gaea from awaking, Percy resumes school alongside Annabeth in Manhattan. For awhile everything is good. He's living under the same roof with his family: Annabeth, his mom and Paul. The scars he received from Tartarus begin to heal.
Unfortunately, all good things come to an end. Percy and Annabeth graduate high school, and move onto their post secondary studies. Annabeth is accepted into a Architectural Program at New Rome's University, while Percy is accepted into a Marine Construction Program in Georgia.
Percy has never realized how much he needs physical affection from his family. Its like a physical hunger. He misses hugging his mom in the morning. He misses Paul ruffling his hair, as he sips his morning coffee before heading to work. He misses holding Annabeth’s hand on the morning commute, and snuggling in the back of the bus on days that ran late.
Annabeth seems to be fine. She has Hazel, Frank, Reyna and Piper at Camp Jupiter. Sure she misses him, but from what Percy can see, she doesn't feel starved like he does. Sally and Paul are the same way; they have each other.
Only Percy is all alone, far away in Georgia.

Summary
Percy senses the blood before he sees it, the way he can sense water, seas and oceans.
It's only a matter of time before his powers leak out, and hurts someone.
Chiron talks to him, but it doesn't help. Chiron doesn't know what happened; apparently Annabeth isn't speaking to him, and Percy sure as hell isn't about to spread the fact that he has power over poison, blood and ichor around.
He even gets on Mr. D's nerves. The alcoholic god glares at him and says: "I could smite you. Turn your blood against you, your molecules to dust."
All Percy can think is, yeah, so can I.

"He really did change us.” Artemis murmurs. “Half a century ago you would've smited him for the insult."
She’s right.
"He taught us to care, how to be parents, how to be better." Hermes says instead. "He believed in us, in me more than any other mortal in this age. The sheer strength of his belief changed us. Changed me."

Percy wakes up with a start. His eyes focus, and the same face is staring down at him. The same blue eyes, the same elvish features, same skin tone-
Before he knows it, Percy lunges up, grabbing Luke with one hand, uncapping riptide with the other, kicking out with a leg and twisting until Luke is pinned underneath him. Percy slashes with riptide, forwards, under Luke’s neck until-
Hands appear in front of his neck, stopping the blade from touching. Golden blood emerges, staining the celestial bronze blade.
Golden blood? Luke doesn’t have golden blood.
Breath heaving and confused, Percy looks up at Luke’s face.
The large, intrusive scar that runs down Luke’s face isn’t there. His hair isn’t blonde, it’s brown. His eyes aren’t glowing golden. The presence that Kronos emits isn’t there. It’s not Luke. But if it’s not Luke, then that means -
Oh no.
Oh no no no.
It’s Hermes.

Percy groans absolutely mortified. He’s hiding from his dad and step-mom in Triton’s rooms. The messenger god is sitting next to him laughing, completely unsympathetic to his suffering like the bastard that he is.
Triton enters the room. Upon seeing Percy, with his cheeks flushed and Hermes laughing, borderline giggling he stops. “What happened? What did you do to him?”
Percy hides his face in his hands, and Hermes is overcome with another wave of laughter.
“I didn’t do anything to him.” Hermes says. “That was all your parents."
“Our parents?” Triton asks. Percy can see the moment that Triton realizes what happened. “Oh no. I’ve been trying to protect you and Tyson from that. Did you-”
“-See them sleep together?” Percy finished, with a grimace. He's going to need so much mind bleach. “Unfortunately.”

Summary
After regaining his memories, Percy had spent more time than he'd like to admit wondering why Poseidon let Hera wipe his memories and steal months of his life. He figured that the gods thought that it was the only way for them to win against Gaea, by using him to unite the camps. A very small part of him had wondered if Poseidon simply didn't care enough, after Percy fulfilled his role and chose to preserve Olympus.
"You are my child." Poseidon says. He wraps an arm around Percy and pulls him closer, until Percy's head is tucked in the space between Poseidon's shoulder and neck. Sitting here, wrapped in his father's cloak and embrace, with the warm fire crackling at his back and the scent of his mother's cooking from the nectar in his mug, Percy can almost believe that he's not in Tartarus. It's all too easy to imagine that he's at their Mohawk cabin in Long Island Sound, sitting by the ocean at night and listening to the waves crash against the shore.
"When I am able, I will always protect you."

Summary
Perseus doesn’t know anything about himself, or the life he lived before waking up at Lupa’s forest. He only has a few things to go off: his name is Perseus, and he knows two people: Grover and Annabeth. Lupa refused to say why, only telling him that if he wanted to find out he would have to leave her forest and look for the answers himself.
Perseus wonders if they’re looking for him. He wonders if he even has family - a mother? Father? Siblings? He’s pretty sure he does, because there’s this gaping hole in his chest full of pain and longing for someone he can’t quite put his finger on.

Summary
Hermes studies the newspaper article in front of him, from Olympus Weekly. To no-one’s surprise it features the most popular demigod of current times: Percy Jackson. It’s quite short and wholesome for a piece on Percy Jackson. It talks about his love of blue food. However, the article neglects to disclose why Percy likes blue food so much.
“But Hermes, this is our chance! We can just stop by for a quick minute to ask!” Martha says eagerly.
Hermes glares at her. “No.”
“Please?” Martha asks.
“No.”
“Please with a rat on top?” George asks.
“No.”
“Please with a blue rat on top?” Martha asks.
“For the love of – fine.” Hermes caves in. The lengths he goes to for his snakes. They're lucky he loves them so much.
“That’s the power of blue food.” Martha tells George gleefully under her breath. George nods in amazement. Hermes rolls his eyes. It’s a losing battle.

Summary
Percy snorts, before shaking his head no. “Angela was worried that Diet Coke’s threat was real. And it’s not like Athena would care if her children were killed.”
“Percy-” Hermes starts to argue, but Percy cuts him off. It’s not the first time that Percy has ranted about Athena; his dislike (to put it mildly) of her is infamous in his social circle, especially after his break-up with Annabeth.
“Look, I know you care about your kids, and most of the other gods do, and you’re all working harder to be better parents. But while this is a good step for most of you, it’s nothing when you consider that Athena has been sending her children to die by their greatest phobia for millennia.” Percy snaps. “Gifts and visits and dancing don't even begin to fix any of that.”
None of it was fair, and Percy hated Athena with an unquenchable vengeance for the way she treated Annabeth. Even now, two years after they had broken up, Percy’s anger at the war goddess was an unquenchable monster that lived within him. Annabeth, for all her flaws, was a worthy hero and had been a good friend and she deserved better than Athena’s neglect, abuse and cruelty.

“I just found one of the Maeonian drakons.” Apollo says, and Hermes notices that there’s a faint tremor in his voice. “Four hundred feet long, flying, breathing fire and spitting poison-”
Hermes drops his clipboard. A single monster that powerful… it’s as bad as they get. Hermes condenses all fifteen of his apparitions into the single one talking to Apollo. He’s stronger when his essence is in one place, and if they’re going after a monster this ferocious, he’s going to need his strength. “I’ll help.”
“It’s going after the Camp Jupiter convoy in the desert-”
Hermes swears. The entire legion working together wouldn’t be able to survive a minute against it. Five minutes maybe, if Pluto’s girl and Jupiter’s son were there. They’d be decimated.
“What are we waiting for? Let’s go-”
“Father ordered me - us to stand down. Stand by.”
“He what?” The words ring in Hermes’s ears. Disbelief. He must’ve heard wrong.
“Percy Jackson was nearby. Father said it was a good opportunity to see how strong Jackson is.”
