Fir, for some reason. And then he keeps calling. Rather than continue to be woken up in the middle of the night over and over, Fir decides the best thing to do is to go for a visit and see if he can help Tanner get a grip on his newfound situation. Then he just kinda... never leaves.
If only it were all that simple.
