"What do you really want?"
When Declan's eyebrows had frowned after hearing Gansey's request, his heart had faltered, afraid he'd overstepped. Now, he could hear something in the way he spoke the question that let him know he knew exactly what Gansey meant, and just wanted him to ask for it. His fingers were still holding close to his jaw. Gansey grabbed faintly at his wrist, moving them upwards so they almost brushed his bottom lip.
"Not like this," he said as an explanation. "My head's just so loud…"
"I can tell." He had let go of Declan, but the man hadn't moved his hand. "That's alright, baby boy, we can make it quiet."

“ADAM!” Who would say such things at a wedding?
“What?” That devilish smirk. “It’s the truth.”
“Are you trying to” —Gansey’s hands flail in the air; He thinks he barely misses the waiters coming around to fill waters— “It can’t be a good omen… mentioning infidelity at a wedding.”
“Oh, and mentioning the best man’s breakup with one of the guests is different?”
“Well, yes— I mean if— you’ve got to understand.” Adam keeps looking at him; Gansey keeps sinking back into himself, mouth feeling uncoordinated. So he dismisses all good table manners he was taught by his parents, setting elbows on the table so he can hide his face in his hands.
Palm absorbs groan. “Can we please start this conversation over?”
Three years after graduating from Aglionby, Adam is single and completing the last week of his summer Law internship, and Gansey is living in Argentina with Blue and Henry. Their paths cross in September, during a wedding.

Summary
Teaching was never Ronan Lynch's first choice of profession. Or second. Or third. But Aglionby Academy had been desperate for a Latin teacher, and Ronan had a degree in Classics, so the position just kind of fell into his lap four years ago and he hasn't really looked back.
Which is fine. He doesn't hate it. He doesn't love it either, but after four years, it's become familiar. Then the new school year starts and along with it comes a new Chemistry and Physics teacher: Adam Parrish.
For Ronan, it's crush at first sight, and it doesn't take long to figure out the feeling is mutual. Except acting on those feelings is a bit of a problem for Ronan and Adam.
Because Aglionby doesn't allow dating among its teachers.

It occurred to Matthew then, in a way it hadn't the last time, that they were having sex. Like, really and actually having sex. Like, right now! Declan was inside of Jordan! Jordan had Declan's penis inside of her body right now, while she was talking to him! The only thing preserving even a sliver of their modesty was the drape of Jordan's skirt over Declan's hips, and that wasn't nearly enough when Matthew knew what was happening under there. His face burned with sudden embarrassment, or anger, or—he didn't know what.

They hadn’t had any contact since. Their mutual friends never said his name around Adam. He assumed it was the same on Ronan’s end. They all had an unspoken agreement of avoidance and pretending none of that ever happened.

Though Ronan could not be called well-behaved, he was at his most serious and restrained when he felt like God was watching. What a thrill it was, then, to have him panting and hard in the chapel, where God or anyone else might see.

The specifics of desire had never brought Adam much trouble, whether it was girls, boys, whatever. Last year, in the Fourth of July's sweltering summer heat, Joseph Kavinsky tried to take his own life.
He succeeded for only a few minutes, but survived, his loyal dogs dutifully saving the life he didn't want. Rehab was an awful way to come back into the realm of the living and the sobriety didn't stick. Kavinsky drops out of high school, aimless and miserable, trying to regain control of the dream forest that now has him branded for what he is-a dream thief. What's worse, he's begun pouring black, tarry liquid from his fucking face anytime he doesn't dream for too long. Trying to hide his supernatural ails and struggling to keep the pieces of his life together enough not to burden his friends, a voice begins to come to him in his sleep, promising a better world for dreamers like him. Movement with freedom. No more nightwash. A world that was shaped for things like him.
The pack graduates from Aglionby and go to begin their lives of college and adulthood, and Kavinsky is left alone to his own devices. Sick of the excuse of a life he's been living, he gives in to the wills of the mysterious dreamer sharing his nights, and discovers he is, for better or worse, much less alone than he believed.

This is not something they did. Even though Gansey and Declan were…. dating? Together? Ronan still couldn't put words to it. Declan only spent minutes in Ronan and Gansey's shared apartment. To pick Gansey up, to drop him off, and one time to drop something off—a book or some shit, Ronan wasn't fucking interested. If Declan wanted to see Gansey, it was outside the seven-hundred and eighty square feet of unit 621.
OR Ronan wakes up to find Declan in the apartment he shares with Gansey. Obviously he is unhappy about it.
