This is a sequel to Alexis Castle Helps out at the 12th.
Lanie had left clear instructions for what Kate had to do in order to get her strap on back from Lanie, so at 8 PM on a Saturday night Kate is standing outside her friend Lanie's apartment in nothing but her raincoat waiting to spend the night being domed by her best friend, things then take an unexpected turn.
Update: I added three new scenes, one between Lanie and Beckett in the Middle, one between Beckett and Alexis near the end, and one between Beckett and Castle at the very end, so you may want to reread and redownload this story.
