As foretold, the Calamity returned to lay waste to Hyrule. Hylia's chosen Hero never appeared. It was only the emergence of Zelda's shockingly powerful time magic that saved the kingdom from complete destruction, but only by delaying it.
A century later, Link -- a member of the Yiga Clan -- is determined to befriend Zelda and the Champions. To get close to the enemy and learn their secrets for the good of the Clan.
Mostly, he's just trying to prove himself and avoid getting reassigned to a job he hates, but things get much more complicated than he expected. -

“Look. I don’t recognize her, Impa.” He palms his hair back in frustration, there’s irritation in his voice and Zelda’s body enters fight-or-flight at the hostility she didn’t know she couldn’t take from him. Her feet stood frozen on that flight of stairs, horrified one of them would notice her from their peripheral.
“Look at her,” he pleads, desperation in his voice.
“Goddesses, she doesn’t even know who I am.” He’s grasping for straws, hands clenched and itching to reach for the sword at his side like a lifeline. “It’s maddening,” he sobs.
And it’s horrible to see. She had spent the past four months thinking they were doing good—great even! Wishing—hoping—they could at least be friends. One step back. Zelda was sick. Another retreating step further up. She was going to gag. She beelines up that flight of stairs.
She thought they could still go back to what was. Clearly, she wasn’t getting that now.
So she does that thing she’s always been good at.
Run away.

Summary
A collection of oneshots exploring Link and Mipha's lives after the events of Mipha's Revival, part 5 of my Link X Mipha series. Each chapter is a self-contained story.
Chapter 1. To Take Care: A sickfic! Link gets sick and Mipha takes care of him. Later, when Mipha gets the same illness, Link takes care of her.
Chapter 2. On Horseback: Link teaches Mipha to ride a horse in the Lanayru Wetlands, and they have a heartfelt conversation under the moon and stars.
Chapter 3. The Snowy Mountains: Link brings Mipha to his cabin in the Hebra Mountains. They shield surf, soak in hot springs, and watch the auroras.
Chapter 4. Dreamcatchers: Link and Mipha head to Lookout Landing, where they meet with Purah and Robbie and purchase a dreamcatcher from a merchant. Their trip takes a dark turn when Mipha is almost murdered.

Link flinched back from whatever look Paya gave him, but reached forward again to cup her cheeks and smooth away her tears. Zelda settled to the floor next to them, on her knees in the dirt, and ever so carefully rested a hand on Paya’s shoulder.
“You’ve never seen me use my power like that, huh?” Zelda said, sounding vaguely self conscious. Paya looked at her, uncomprehending. “It’s a little intense, isn’t it?”
“Allergic,” Link said nonsensically, but Zelda nodded.
“Maybe,” she said, “what do you need, Paya? Water? A hug? Some space?”
Paya just looked at her. The Goddess made Hylian. The Goddess incarnate. The Goddess herself, bursting out of Zelda’s skin. Moved her eyes to Her chosen knight, Her hero. The cold steel of his eyes was gone, replaced by the gentle blue she had always known from him.
What was that?

With the return of Zelda to Hyrule, Paya is tasked by her grandmother to remain by her side as she travels the remains of her Queendom. Which, between a budding relationship with Link and the strange movements of the Yiga, poses a much bigger challenge than expected.

Summary
Before the Calamity hit, before a sword was pulled in a forest, a Gerudo woman stumbled into Hateno Village during a storm. Her carriage to a healer was attacked by monsters in the storm, leaving her to get to the village on foot while injured and in labor. The town guard helps her to the home of the Knight Commander where the healer is helping his wife also deliver a baby.
The Healer didn't want to help the Gerudo woman due to his limited supplies and the storm already slowing his assistant with a resupply, but the Commander's wife demands he help her too and not be heartless. The wife is incredibly kind to the Gerudo woman and excited for her first baby.
It's a long and rough labor for both mothers which isn't helped by the storm or when the Commander has to leave to deal with the monsters trying to attack the village during it. When he returns, there are two bundles in the crib and the healer is working to help the mothers. The injuries from the monster attack were too much for the Gerudo woman but the Commander assured her they'd care for her baby alongside their own. The Commander's wife is happy with two healthy sons to raise.

The words feel more intimate than an embrace, more than an 'I love you.' They're an invitation, A proposal. You don't even hesitate in your response.
"To the end of time." You swallow. "To the end of the Earth."
His eyes widen, lips parting like he almost doesn't know what to say, but he does, high-pitched and breathless.
"You're crazy."
"Crazier than you? I highly doubt that."

A story in which you, an emotionally troubled traveler, cross paths with a young and dangerously handsome hero in a horrifically inconvenient way. Because of this, you end up with literally nowhere else to turn besides this attractive stranger's home. You'll come to find out this stranger is more important than anything else you've experienced in your entire almost 18 years of life, both literally and emotionally. Too bad he's batshit insane with an unshakable drive that comes off as a death wish. Oh well, you'll follow him anyway. To the end of time.
