“Do you have the leucotome?” One of them asks. “Yup. Let’s get this show on the road.”
The door opened, revealing the two men. Mike shivered, breathing heavily.

Before leaving Hawkins, Jonathan tells Mike the truth about the painting— leading to Mike awkwardly bombing Will and Chance's bar date, trying to confront Will about the truth before getting beat up by Chance behind the bar(for the greater good). Ross Duffer, a homeless ho, comes in to save Mike mid-beating but gets beat up by Chance instead, all whilst Mike uses Ross to escape from there.
Mike then finds an upset, tipsy Will leaving the bar and takes it onto himself to drive Will home for the night. And once they're back home, even though tipsy, Will takes it upon himself to clean Mike's wounds. It ends up with Mike finally confessing his love to Will mid-breakdown.
